That's a nice looking watch, I ordered the black one. Will see how it holds up.

Put two meteorite paganis together. They have the exact same pattern on the dials. Simulated meteorite. Still a great look though.

Do you like this watch more than that steeldive turtle you had in the video? Which one would you recommend now after 10 months?
@bidipbo5 ай бұрын
I rarely wear this watch. It is a nice looking watch, to be fair and is built well enough. But, it does not compare to the Steeldive SD1974. The bracelet of this Pagani is too light, compared to the Steeldive. In fact, I removed the bracelet shortly after this video and I have not used it since. The centre links of it are high polished, so I am preserving it from scratches by using a nato strap instead. The lume of the SD1974 is fantastic - Pagani does not compare.

@@bidipbo thanks for answering, i am not sure which steeldive to get haha they are all looking great and appear to be great value for money
@bidipbo5 ай бұрын
@@ante4331 I own two. The other, which can be found on my channel is the SD1992. It is a great build, with a reliable movement. The finishing is super. The only let down is the lume. Steeldive has a reputation for the amount of lume on their watches, but this model does not hold up. It is a nice blue colour, to be sure, but it is neither as bright as I would have liked, nor does it have the staying power as my SD1974 does. Ultimately, Steeldive is worth the price, providing it is under $200. There are a few that are more expensive than that and I am not certain that they perform as advertised (e.g. extreme water resistance) at the higher price.

HI friend! Buy the same watch and the larger second hand does not move as do 2 of the smaller indicators (left and right). The hours show normally as do the date and seconds of the smaller dial. Do you know what it could be? thanks
@bidipbo7 ай бұрын
The large second hand is for the chronograph only. It only works when you are using the chronograph function. The sub dial at the 6 o'clock position tracks the seconds of timekeeping. The 9 o'clock sub dial is tracking the minutes that have elapsed since starting the chronograph. The 3 o'clock sub is tracking the hours of the day. It is a 24-hour clock and moves only once every hour.

too bad you cant get it to focus right, so the entire video is blurry on the watch :(
@bidipbo10 ай бұрын
It is not an issue of focus, but rather of resolution. The video is recorded in 720p.

Do you use this watch? if yes, it is going well?
@bidipbo11 ай бұрын
I just wore it yesterday. Right after I bought it, I removed the bracelet to preserve its condition and used the nato strap that came with it. Yesterday though, I swapped that for a black alligator strap. The watch is totally reliable with the mecha-quartz movement. Since I wear it in a rotation of many other watches, its condition is as new - it doesn't have any scratches.

I prefer the Meteorite with the black dials and the Starfish back. Weird that this one has a different design. It's almost like this us a copy of a copy. Itcis Pagani Design but, not their best effort. The black hand almost exactly some one is better. Mine had a screwdriver. I have this exact one as well. (Of course it's not real meteorite....the real watch is like 30 thousand dollars made with real meteorite. It's why the real non-meteorite is slightly less expansive. As in thousands if dollars less. You hit on it. I thought it would be white from all the videos and photos.
@bidipbo Жыл бұрын
Many people complained about the starfish, since it is not part of the PD design language. Also, several other watch companies like Zelos and Aragon feature real meteorite dials in their watches costing only hundreds of dollars. Meteorite is not that rare, nor expensive, we are only led to believe this by those that charge thousands for something that is only about $50.
@UhhhhhnooOOo00oO Жыл бұрын
@bidipbo It's the type that they use. I also prefer the old style of this Pagani which, had black hands and was more white. The real Rolex is somewhat more white and the Rolex Daytona with white face and the Pagani with white face look much better. Again, as most humans do, they pick the part of comment that they want to discuss. It behooves you to address every aspect. Especially, if you want to grow a channel.
@bidipbo Жыл бұрын
@@UhhhhhnooOOo00oO I think many of Pagani's customers are now buying their watches because they like the product, not because it is an homage to another brand's product. I don't understand why the PD-1644 is being compared to the Daytona in this instance. I mean, I get it, but... I own five PD watches and none of them were purchased because I wanted the 'real thing'. That is an assumption that no longer applies to many of us that are deliberately supporting Chinese watches because we are impressed with the value for money. It is forcing the Swiss market to address the 'quartz crisis 2.0'. Except this time, it is about quality of material, finishing, price and not merely what the movement is inside. This is an unboxing video. I am deliberately saving a more detailed discussion of each watch in my collection for a later date. I am interested in finding a passion for sharing my experience collecting, not growing my channel. I have already owned an international luxury lifestyle publication and interviewed nearly every single player in various sectors of luxury. I am uninterested in chasing anything other than an inexpensive, must have watch to add to my collection. The fact that I film and share the unboxing ought not be construed to mean that I am trying to grow my channel any more than it would otherwise ORGANICALLY grow. I am putting the least amount of effort into this endeavour because low tech production is an under appreciated form of conveyance. But, it is valuable to a potential consumer that wants the most realistic presentation of the product, if they held it in their own hands. But I appreciate your view.

@bidipbo I know more than most about the watches and the brand. (Unfortunately) They make decebt copies. Anoint a 200 dollar value copy. Not a 500 dollar copy and definitely not the real thing that is very overpriced. If you can wear an even cheaper Benyar or a decent Pagani with that name on it, it's doable but, you feel like you are wearing a copy. The weight and feel is a factor. I have a Rolex butN I'm really a Panerai buyer. I think the Daytona is too small at 40mm or other models at 42mm even. Omegas are really nice. I enjoy about a 44mm watch and I'm in shape and dint have a 9inch wrist like most humans nowadays. It's not all wrist after most diets. I do appreciate your lengthy reply and post.
