Awesome video first off. Editing and pacing was great. But im glad someone else takes note of these sit down, talking videos. Personally, i was taught a lot through these videos, and Cory had a positive impact on me growing up. Having values, empathy, maturity. The man inspired me to start my own gaming channel, and so far its been up and down since im in the middle of college, but i wont stop doing videos forever just cause im too busy. These talking videos are probably my favorite ones, and the most memorable to me.

Honestly, I like td games, i mean i paly thsoe for years. the idea is good and simplistic. Just the lesser good games, like cashgrabs are there to ruin them genres. Like tds, it's not The devs fault they add paid battlepass,like you said. Tdx was made buy a guy (the guy taht made the bloxy-award winning trailer for tds) taht was kidna a manchild,but he's getting more mature and fixing his game now. The battle bricks MAY seems liek a roblox battle cats clobe, but it's very different, also can be easy for you,then have a huge difficulty spike,gmae not complete tho. Now gacha games, like anime td games and ttd, are the issue. won't bohter exlpaining but y(all konw why. Now a few games not mentionned in this video : Tower battles : the backbone of the genre. Whitout it, td games would be very different, or even not existing in roblox. basically a 2011 game, which is still udapting (rarely now, last update was last year) where you have verusus (aka you try to outlive your opponent, by having mroe stuff or just spamming him enemies that you pay cash to send) Btw they amde a collab whit tdx and tds was at first a tb fangame (tower battels but bad) Doomspire defense : AMAZING GAME, SHOULD TRY OUT; that gmaes makes the td genre (in the btd style) is AMAZING. No greed (devs makes sure to have hte least p2w, rn having none) UNIQUE TOWER (not just cheap guy whit a gun,big guy whit a big guy, guy whit long gun,ect) but more like, guy whit a hammer that stuns X amaozunt of enemis bieng the same tyep of enemies hit by it. Spawnpoint that spawns a ton of rnadom brickbattlers. World td : don't know much but liek tbb,towers have a repalce cooldown, and tehre's no path, and enemis gonna destroy the base ore thing, and will KILL your tower. Pretty hard apparently. also td fans can be toxic, I'm nto saying I'm not tho ):

td games as a whole are a mixed bag, sometimes you get real ones like wtd or idle games with td aspects but still can be good like tdx and bloons td6 keeping it entertaining with strategy and difficulty

Some tower defense games prefer quality over quantity Like TDX, john has only 1 dev and for the halloween event, john delayed chap 2 for 1 hour, chap 3 on the 2nd of november and chap 4 on the 9th of november. Showing their love for the quality. But the main boss of chap 4 wasn't finished. Corrupted apex was WAY better. While those TD games you gamble for towers wants quantity over quality.

To be fair(just for tdx i dont play tds that much), the battlepass is not that grindy. While it may take a few weeks to complete, if you just play 2-3 matches a day (not that many i find this to be a good balance) u can get what u want. However, as for towers, it is a necessary form of progression. TDX and TDS and other games that allow u to choose ur tower, and not gambling, allows for players to choose instead of gambling, sorta minimizing the grind. Plus alot of games even outside of the TD genre are just as if not more grindy. However some of ur points are valid. NO HATE whatsoever

main problem with roblox in its entirety is the amount devs get from their stuff roblox gets like 75% of all the earnings, meaning devs get 25%. so devs have a choice: settle with 1/4 earnings or monetize the game 4x as hard to get somewhat normal earnings people really undermine this fact, and it really makes the devs look like the greedy ones, while roblox gets away scot free

As a tower defense veteran on roblox, i can confidently say the main appeal is to always try a new approach or strategy against the enemies in td games. Like what tower synergizes more with another or perhaps which one could suprise you at being effective against a specific type of enemy for example. Always trying something outside the main strategies and experimenting with placements is also quote fun. Like placing a tower delibirately far away but its upgrades give it alot of range so you risk it in order to cover More range than actually being closer to the path as an example. In general, the main fun aspect is always a new perspective or approach to the same problem you've seen before, spiced up so much more if there's recent buffs/nerfs here and there to always "icebreak" the boring metas of using le most expensive tower to win. Towers defense I LOVE TOWER DEFENSE GAMES, I also agree with the battle pass no one likes them and I heavily dislike how TDS my favorite TD game now had a normal battle pass and a premium pass in the past (make the joke I will self explode) all the tiers were free and also I HATE how Grindr the holloween TDS is SO F@$% GRINDING
