The first sequence is basically showing a move. The 2nd is transitional and fluid and gorgeous.

In second one the whole body is engaged and involved: head chest , shoulder and hands movements + tempo changes that accentuate the direction changes. It looks more free too not gripping the pole at all cost 🙂

I think in the second part your hips are opening and closing as the leg waves. In the first part the hips stay more or less closed.
