Does this game still runs on a real time timer to play? I remember that's what turned me off from backing the game....

It still has a timer. Rounds are 2 minutes and that amount gets increased/lowered depending on what difficulty you choose. I like the timer system because before you start the game and after every round you enter the "Cooldown Phase". This phase lets you strategize before the mission, draft consumable cards, and slot all the gear you picked up during the round. I think its cool that you can set up a plan during the Cooldown Phase, and then have to adapt that plan depending on how its actually going in the heat of the moment. I think that dynamic perfectly encapsulates what its like to be a Merc in Night City

Would be cool if you share some tips to help add some thematic sense to such missions (like in the core mission you have to kill a sniper, hack smth, etc)!

is it possible to showcase a gameplay generated by afterlife.? the idea looks cool but a great deal of this feature still not clear like maps, enemies, custom starting area and if there are any possibility to add custom tricks and tweaks?

I believe it uses the existing map boards in the base game just with different layouts, enemies, and objectives. Some of the unlocked stretch goals included "Fixers" from the video game and each of them come with 3 Themed Mission Cards, 8 Objective Cards, and 3 Street Story Cards. These will all likely be used in this "Afterlife" mode

Yay! Spider! ❤ She’s my fave OG character besides Johnny. This is what got me to buy it. SM has a whole legendary character arc, mostly unknown, waiting to be told. I hope it comes up in future games. Regardless, thanks for giving my girl a chance to shine.

Why there is no shaded option for just the Deluxe pledge? I dont want to to go All In just to get the shaded minis...

@iloveharleyquinn6882 I think you missunderstood: Only All In pledges comes with shaded optio. and I want just the Deluxe pledge to be shaded - without any addons and it is not possible... If you want shaded you have to pledge All In... No shaded for the ones who backed 139$ Deluxe Pledge

Suggestion just create the game into the board, players become mercs following their own start doing gigs to level up and kill eachother or take on corpos easier concept

weird game but ok. for me i commented on another for cp2077 board game, but this game concept is better if you can collect information, news , tracks and clues for a specific bounty or contracts - can be a human or monster in the end, why would a sorceress or vampire be interested in a small murder case, sorry

going back on this video after watching playthrough videos, yea for me you can just translate the game into the board - nothing simpler than a level up character game and dice rolls, fight against arasaka boss or each other after completing side gigs in different areas is also simpler than "real time"

idk i dont dig this game sorry guys, board games sometimes can reflect the real meaning if lets say your health is max, instead calling it a booster, in the game you can have an inhaler which heals up to max if down for eg.

I‘m confused. What was the advantage to pledging on Day 1? If you can get all the special stuff now, it doesn’t really make it special. Now I wish I had waited, before spending the €200+. You’ve already made 8 million in pledges.

If I remember correctly, you would receive the mantis blade female V expansion for free. Don't remember if the male one, too. Pledging now we would have to pay for them.

Awesome video, I imagine this tale has a nice replayability since the murderer can be different every game, right? Any chance we could get to see the Legendary Monsters next?
