A rare glimpse of the man himself. What a treat. Often wondered and never completely knew. The voice suits the man though. Always remember, "be safe".

Love your adventures in these mines, but with all the tunnels in a mine like this, how do you keep track of which way is out? You must have a great sense of direction!!

For handsfree you could use a GoPro style mount on your helmet, but that only works with GoPros, Insta 360s, sadly not camera phones.

I think there were cave systems that lead to lands like that but they've all been sealed up the rest are inaccessible because of military etc, such a shame that we may never get to actually see them

Amazed at the amount of work just digging those tunnels, not counting getting the ore out and processing.

Great video, quite extensive workings toward the end. The black graffiti was made with carbide miner's lamps. In the 80s, we city boys used to explore storm drain tunnels, so Granddad gave me his old miner's lamp which I cleaned up and restored to function. For carbide I bought several tubes of bangsite at a fireworks stand one july. This was very finely granulated, I think the stuff made for miner's lamps was coarser granules. Looked like red rock in a couple of places, probably high grade cinnabar or mercury ore.

I wonder what type of respatory problems you mite face later on breathing the air down in these mines. 🤔 Rats, Bats, mold, and more. Be careful.

Seems they would have went out of main shaft to see if any thing was out there instead of miles of straight shaft ???😮 just my opinion

When you reach the ends you should examine the working face to see what might be left. It's interesting to see what the veins look like when they Peter out. That yellow stain on the up on the wall looks like that thing gets a lot of water in there.

In all the mines you've explored you've never come across a dragon, trolls, demon, Bluecaps, Tommyknockers, cyclops or even an underground human cannibalistic dweller very disappointing.
