Having water at your cabin is a big plus. Very hard to find land at a decent price that has water where you can build a small cabin and live nowadays.

This looks a lot like something that's roughly southwest of Round Mountain. Neat. Accidentally came across it when google maps told me this 30+ mile dirt trail was the "fuel efficient" option to get back home.

Having a spring nearby in desert environments can be the difference between life or death when temperatures run to extremes . Cool find . Thanks for sharing as usual . 👍

Thank you for sharing. Don’t get out much anymore these days. Very nice too see, like we were there with you… In the 1960’s and 70’s we did a lot of exploring in the mountains surrounding Lake Isabella in California, lots of untouched history still was around back then.

Nice juniper at 2:16 trying to get started Piñon pine and juniper thrive in 4500’ - 7500’ elevation. Whenever I see pink in strata, I think of Rhyolite and rhyolitic lava. Well done DT!

Nice video. Thanks. Unfortunately, the spring is being mismanaged.

Is this on public land? Why haves no one tried to cistern the water for livestock and wildlife. That much water in late summer is remarkable. I am sure all living things from miles around come here to have a drink. thank you.
