@TheSession06 one of your comments says not to remove all the strings at once. I searched online and most people say it doesn't matter. What do you think? Does the release of all the tension actually make a difference? I really enjoyed your sped-up voice! And your comment about g-strings😂.
@TheSession06
@TheSession06 4 ай бұрын
@@reardondearborn Yeah it matters but the person who commented didn't realise i loosened all the tension on the strings before removal. Never cut strings under tension that is the main point. As for removing all the strings on the guitar to clean the fretboard there is no problem, but a guitar should never be left for a long period of time without string as it will create warping in the neck.

Hey! Thats cool. I have a Roland Ac40, so the same amp basically but it doesnt have the option of adding batteries to it. I was looking to get one of this camping batteries but they are expensive and heavy. How could I go about building an external battery to power my amp? I mean, a solution that doesnt require messing with the circuits and soldering. I imagine a package of batteries with a cable that goes into the 12v normal input of the amp. Thanks!
@TheSession06
@TheSession06 5 ай бұрын
Hi there if you can find a power brick that gives constant 12v then you can adapt the main cable to plug into the brick and that should run the amp no problem, just make sure that it has enough amp hour the more the better for good run time 5000mah would be ok or more if you can find it. good luck.

That's a reasonable price, but for my money, the Aroma mesh kick pad was an amazing buy. Lots of room for two beaters. The downside of mesg is that you either need plastic beaters or an evans drum patch - the latter is better, and cheaper. The other option is to split one of your stereo channels and get a 2nd kick pedal instead of a mesh pad - some outs are stereo/trs that can be split to two mono/TS cables - usually tom pads, but you can sacrifice a dual zone pad for this purpose e.g. ride/bell, or snare/rim.

Hi alot of times simple is best. start with a fresh battery and try using some contact cleaner. if you open up the unit then you can have a good clean on the boards. check for loose contacts on any small cables and the input jack on the guitar, mine was twisted together from being loose. Its really trial and error but start small.

This is a great amplifier! Got a used Roland AC-33RW from marketplace for less than USD180.00 then that 40min. fast charger Energizer that comes with a bunch of AA and AAA batteries (1.2V. 2300mAh) for USD30.00 and this little amp runs for 8hours using the built-in Efx at 70% volumen. My question is if I set that Lithium 12V. Battery its going to be louder?
@TheSession06
@TheSession06 Жыл бұрын
Hi there in my expierience it does not make it louder, i was mostly using mains power but when i ran on batteries i only got like 4 hours. if you are getting 8 hours then thats great. i already had the big lithium so went for that. keep on jamming my friend.

Thx, my AUra Pro doesnt amplify. I got a replacement and it doesnt download Aura gallery images. Yea, thats no good. I used the orginal to diagnose the replacement that apparently has a failed port. After watching your video I see the plug was turned and shorted out causing the guitar to not amplify. Probably an all too common user problem. Ive looked at mine but it looks good so Im going to tin the wires making sure theres no cold solder joint. Anyway thx for the video, it got me thinking.

Hi Guys, I couldn't pick up your conclusion on these wireless pick up as your music was playing continuously at the end of your wee video but mine just jacked in simultaneously a couple of months ago so I'd be inclined to invest in another product that comes with decent legit reviews. Dead handy when they work though! :)

I tried this and I wasn't able to do this with my alesis kick tower (it's from alesis forge and it has a metal plate instead of a plastic). I thought I bricked it completely (I also tried a bigger piezzo without any luck). BUT I found another solution - if you have a guitar overdrive/distortion pedal (or anythingwhich can amplify a signal), connect it between the module and the pedal's input - you may have to tweak the level and gain settings. No soldering and other modifications required, you only need a spare mono jack cable to connect the overdrive pedal to the module.

Great i was wondering how to do the mod the best way on my ac 33...it seems perfect.. I need to find the proper batteries now.. I m sick of using rechargeable aa which loose power so fast and don t allow ac 33 do deliver properly because of the 1.2 voltage.. This seems like a nice fix! Do you have any link to the model batteries u used? To check the exact properties.. Thanx again!

Hi there i havent got a link but check out zippy packs they are reasonably priced, they should be on amerzon, or google 11.1v rc lipo and you will find them. any make will work, the one in the video is quite old but still runs the amp for alot longer than standard batteries.

@@TheSession06 thanx a lot for your answer, i checked it and i you said there is quite few options to choose from. Great! :) i m considering going cheap and less portable with regular 12v battery (i have a charger for this already and there is quite few cheap ones at a weight of 2kilos) still better than the time i was carrying a car battery :D or the lipo option which is amazing, powerful and liggt, and so much in use in drones, small sized boats planes and so on...
