Hi I have the same kit and im new to recording and would love some advice. One of the pluses of this kit was that it only needs a usb to record midi, but for some reason it won't work on my computer. Instructions say no drivers needed and only usb connection. My computer says its connected but the kit doesnt make any sound when i try recording. What's your recording setup? I'll get an audio interface if I need to. Just want to get it to work! love your videos!

Hi there, It should work with the usb cable into the pc, make sure you are running an audio software like EZ drummer, Superior Drummer etc. Check volume controls in program. I use the Zoom H4N as my recording device, i try to keep things as simple as possible so i mix the tracks in the H4N will use audacity eventually to do some sound cleanup as it is a free program. I also use my video editor for some audiio work. There are many other options out there but the Zoom products are good value. Let me know when its, working is always good info for other people and anything else i can help with. Keep jamming

Hey man! Great videos! I’m in the market for a turbo mesh drum kit and all your unboxing and testing is greatly appreciated. I see you’ve gone back to the regular bass pedal with the kit in this video. Did the kick pad not work out? I’m trying to decided against the turbo kit or the nitro kit which includes a kick pad and I think the rims on the drum head have a sound to them as well. Thoughts on if that’s worth the extra $90 or will the turbo do the trick?

Hey there, I would say it would be a bonus to have the rim sound on the nitro and the ability to change each pad volume, the turbo however is a good kit to start with but will be worth paying the extra few dollas for a slightly higher spec. And yeah had an issue with the bass pedal after about a month, am going to try a different trigger or adapt the original pedal but all in all it works great anyway. Thanks
