Please answer my question, my grandfather died yesterday. He was a really good man but was a Hindu. He never knew the full truth of Christ. He never rejected Jesus and saw him as the son of God. Im really worried for him and the rest of my Hindu family. Are they going to be sent to hell or am i going to spend eternity with them alongside Jesus, My heavenly Father? Even if they get sent to hell it would be temporary right? So after some time i can enjoy with them in paradise. Amen.

Hi there, I have recorded a full Bible study on death and hell and I'll share the link below. I'm really sorry for your loss. May God comfort your heart with the power and love of the Holy Spirit 🙏🏽 I cannot tell you if your grandfather will be saved or not, only God knew and knows his heart, the light he had and how he acted on it or not, and what type of life he lived. God is the judge, not you or me. Even so, I believe in a merciful God that understands all the situations involved in the life of every human being. He is way more merciful than any of us, and He is fair, just, holy and true. Right now, whatever you and I believe about your grandfather and his salvation will not change anything for him. But you can do something for yourself at this point, by giving your heart to Christ, trusting in Him fully for salvation, studying His Word, surrendering to Him daily, and living by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. If you believe in Jesus and do what He says, you will live eternally and if your grandfather is saved, then you get to spend eternity with Jesus and with him. That's the best scenario! I hope that helps. Here's the video I mentioned. I know it's long but it does cover a lot of ground in the Bible 👇 kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHzEYYOVqbWSnJI

Paradise was a reference to sheol, not heaven. No one who died b4 Jesus sacrifice on the cross went to heaven. Hell has compartments, probably 7. Lazarus & the rich man was real, parables dont have proper names. Jesus soul & the thiefs soul were in Paradise together after their death just as Jesus said.

Matthew 25:31-36 says, "Then he will say to those on his left, “Depart from me, you cursed. . . And these will go away into ETERNAL punishment, but the righteous into ETERNAL life.” Revelation 14:9-11 says, "If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath...and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have NO REST, day or night." If they were annihilated out of existence, then the statement no rest day or night makes no sense. Revelation 20:10 says, "And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be TORMENTED day and night FOREVER and ever. . .Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if ANYONE"S name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." By the way, the word torment is translated from the Greek word Basanismos, and it means to torture. It absolutely does NOT mean to annihilate and put out of existence. Luke 16:22-24 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.” Notice the rich man is NOT annihilated but rather in torment in flames. He can feel pain, he can see, he can have a rational conversation. How does this in any metaphorical sense point to annihilation?

Hi, thank you for your message. I know these passages well and I believe the Bible is its best interpreter. I'll share my thoughts below but I deal with ALL of these passages in detail (and many more) on this video 👉 kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHzEYYOVqbWSnJIsi=ftmMN959b_G7sDzG Concerning the eternal punishment in Matthew 25:41-46 (please note that your reference was not correct in the verse numbers), Paul explains it by saying this: "These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power" 2 Thessalonians 1:9 The punishment is eternal in the sense that the destruction is eternal, not the torment. Concerning Revelation 14:9-11, John was alluding to Isaiah 34:10: "It shall not be quenched night or day; Its smoke shall ascend forever. From generation to generation it shall lie waste; No one shall pass through it forever and ever." The context is the destruction of Edom and the nations opposing God's people, destruction, not eternal torment. The fact that John says they will be tormented night and day means that the destruction will last several nights and days, but in this passage it is the smoke of their torment, not their torment, that rises forever. The consequence of their torment is eternal, i.e., destruction. Jesus spoke of different degrees of suffering in Luke 12:47-48, depending upon the light that wicked people had or not have. Revelation 20:11-15 is also clear that each wicked person will be judged according to his/her works. So some will most likely take longer in the flames before they cease to exist and become ashes (Malachi 4:3). Revelation 20:10 says they will be tormented to "aión" which can simply mean a cycle of time, or an age. I don't believe Satan and his angels will be immediately destroyed, but they will be tormented and ultimately destroyed in the end, or the previous verse would not make sense (Revelation 20:9 says they are "devoured"). Ezekiel 28:19 also speaks about the annihilation of the devil: "...You have become a horror, And shall be no more forever.” Concerning the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31), please consider this: A) Christ was showing that the common belief of that day and age that the rich are better than the poor in God's eyes was wrong (Matthew 19:23-25, 30). He was also teaching that there will be many surprises in the hereafter. People that we thought were favored by God will be lost and people we thought were despised by God in this life will be saved (see the context of the parable-Luke 16:15). B) Jesus was teaching that there is no second chance after death. It is in this life that we form characters for eternity. If we continually neglect to help people in need who are near to us we reveal that our hearts are growing more insensitive to the love of God (Luke 16:26; John 5:42; 1 John 4:8); C) Jesus was teaching that we need to put our faith in Scripture more than apparitions and miracles (Luke 16:27-29); D) Jesus was teaching that when hearts are closed and hardened against the biblical gospel, not even the miracle of resurrection can convince them, which happened when Jesus raised an actual man named Lazarus (clear connection there) from the dead (Luke 16:30, 31; John 11:45-53). The purpose of the parable seems clear, and I believe the Bible gives more evidence that it has nothing to do with the state of the dead in the book of Isaiah: “Abraham does not know us” (Isaiah 63:16 - NASB / ESV). If the parable is read literally, then: 1) Heaven and hell are close enough so that the people in heaven can hear and see the people in hell while these are suffering, and the people in hell can talk to father Abraham; 2) In the afterlife, before the resurrection, while their physical bodies are turning into dust, the people in hell have fingers, eyes, and a tongue, and they suffer physically feeling thirst; 3) Heaven is Abraham's bosom. That's simply not real according to the rest of Scripture. And when Jesus spoke about a real Lazarus that really died, He said that Lazarus was sleeping when referring to his death (John 11:11-14). Also, when the true Lazarus comes back to life, we have no record of him sharing anything about his experience in death. Scripture is silent there and I think that’s a good lesson.

I actually believe the USA is the place from where the second beast of Revelation 13 rises, and where an image to the beast is formed. Babylon is connected with the first beast, also called "little horn" in Daniel 7. That first beast is clearly the papacy and these two powers will unite in the end of times. I can provide you with Bible references and an explanation for why I believe that, in case you are interested.

Any decent parent would agree that even if you knew your child would come back from suffering a terrible betrayal, abandonment, unjust condemnation, torture, public humiliation and death by crucifixion, you would still suffer seeing him, or her, going through that. But once we've agreed to that we have not even begun to scratch the surface of God's suffering. If what the Bible says is true, and I believe it is, God is an eternal present (Exodus 3:14) and He always knew and felt throughout all eternity the suffering necessary to redeem humanity (Jeremiah 31:3). Christ is fully God and humbled Himself taking human nature upon Himself and being submissive to the point of death (Philippians 2:5-11). He retains a human nature, with a human body, even after His resurrection (Luke 24), meaning He has embraced humanity in Himself forever (an eternal humiliation for the Creator to assume the form of a creature). Furthermore, that fact that God has revealed Himself and the plan of salvation in a way that we can understand (a Father that gives His Son), does not mean in any way that God is only what you and I can grasp through those known familiar realities. Christianity (and the truth about God revealed in the Bible) makes no sense to human logic. But mere human logic and rationality is really not working to fix this world, is it?

For someone who has studied for 25 years and as a Pastor…I find your teaching to be confusing and misleading. You are giving some truth but not all of it. Before the crucifixion, people who died were all buried. (Their bodies) The believers (souls) went to Paradise and the non believers (souls) to Hell. In Paradise their (souls) were in the bosom of Abraham. In Hell their (souls) were tormented day and night. At the crucifixion Jesus Died and His Soul went to Hell for 3 days and 3 nights and When he was resurrected he took the souls in Paradise to Heaven with him. Those souls in Hell, remained. At the great white throne of Judgement: when all non believers of Jesus Christ will be judged, they will move from Hell and be thrown into The Lake of Fire for eternity. This is known as the 2nd death. As a Believer, you die only once, because you were born twice…. So when a non-believer dies their soul will go straight to Hell. A non-believer is born only once and will die twice. And a Believer today their soul will go straight to Heaven until the rapture. Everything stated here is in the Bible, The Holy Scriptures…

Its an assumption those removed from hell go into the lake of fire. You can not prove it with scipture. Judgement does not mean condemnation. Only 3 go into the lake of fire per scripture & their smoke rises forever so the lake of fire is eternal. I accept that presumably some will take the mark but i do not think its any of adams race as all of adams race was saved by Jesus on the cross as scripture states repeatedly all through the new testament.

@@crucified4me that text doesn't even hint to " the why". The context is creation.. God made man in His own image.. There are three parts of the bible.1. Creation 2. The Fall, 3. A lot of people do this. Genesis 1 is God's recipe for financial success according to prosperity pastors Take animals breed them sell them, take the money to plant fruits and vegetables make a lot of money... Creation teaches financial prosperity.. we can pull out all these creative things from scripture that fit our lifestyles. Like a rib and prosperity.. @@S3CONDGLANCE so saying that God created the woman out of a rib of man to signify that she was to stand by his side, not to rule over him or be ruled by him, but to be loved and protected by him, is a way of pleasing women and control men? I don't see it that way, but thank you for sharing your thoughts. In my view this concept of giving back to both man and woman their true standing as being created (both) in the image and likeness of God, and being one in marriage, is part of what you describe in your number 3, redemption. 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:26, 27 NKJV 4 And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” Matthew 19:4-6 NKJV I am aware of the biblical analogy concerning Christ and the Church (husband and wife) becoming one flesh. But to take that illustration to the point of considering women to be inferior to men is ridiculous, in my view. All the best.

Yes, I am. I've been a Seventh-day Adventist Pastor for 20 years. Are you an SDA too?

Hi there, it depends on your eyesight, but I would say it's very readable and would suit the needs of most teachers/preachers, if they like to use a single-column for the job. Blessings!

One thing that would be cool for this Bible. The words of Christ in the same Blue as the gilt
