THE GOLDEN GIRLS Season 7 (1991-92) Promo (The Final Episode)

This is a promo that aired on NBC for "One Flew Out of the Cuckoo's Nest", the 25-26th episodes (179-80th overall) from the seventh and final season of the hit 1985-92 ensemble sitcom "The Golden Girls". The episodes aired as a two part series finale on NBC on Saturday, May 9, 1992.
This was the last in a month long wave between April and May 1992 of Eighties sitcoms that were ending their runs such as "The Cosby Show", "Who's The Boss", "Growing Pains" and "Night Court"
When Blanche's (Rue McClanahan) Uncle Lucas (special guest star Leslie Nielsen) visits, Blanche sets him up on a date with Dorothy (Beatrice Arthur) and when they discover that neither is interested in the other, contrary to what Blanche led them to believe, they decide to get revenge by convincing Blanche they have fallen in love and plan to marry. Eventually, they fall in love for real, Lucas proposes, and Dorothy accepts, resulting in her moving out of the house permanently. Rose (Betty White) struggles with whether to stay in the house or to move in with her daughter and Stan (Herb Edelman) makes one last gesture to show his love for Dorothy.
This was done to accomodate Beatrice Arthur, who decided to leave the series after seven years.
