Loved all the flowering trees in your Mum's yard. I would think the "kids" would have fun camping in the yard. Not sure if I've even to Lake's Entrance. If I have it was around 40 years ago !!! It looks like a lovely area. You are certainly going into 2025 in a good mental & physical place. Beautiful sunrise photos. That is a gorgeous beach. I thank you for sharing your year with us here on KZbin - it's been a fun journey with you. While I do enjoy the one second every day videos this is definitely a more real reflection of your year - both the ups and downs. I think we'll have to make a trip down to Melbourne if My Brilliant Career come back. Watching back through the year you can see just how much weight you and Chris have both lost. Well done to both of you. Not that it matters how you look but you must be feeling so much healthier. My word for 2025 is Brave.

What a year!

I played in the pit for a few shows in Sydney. I think Gabriyel is the better Deloris <3 she's amazingggggg (Sunday night shows)

I've never seen a tree basket like that. How lovely - especially with all the stuffed xmas animals. I have a tree skirt I bought at Disney years ago. Wow - the lights on the tree are amazing. If we hadn't just got a new prelit tree I'd be getting Kevin to buy some of those. I love trees with ornament collections - our goes back 32 years. Loved seeing your collection. It's definitely a very gay tree 🙂. My youngest was born on 9/11 so I want to visit the memorial one day. That wicked ornament is very cool. I've never seen musical ornaments before - were they all from Broadway? I nearly spat my tea everywhere at Greg's back to me 🙂 Love that family tradition of the wrapped chocolates - they look great on the tree as well. One of my fav Christmas albums was by Jewel.

This was such a great idea for a vlog. You put in so much effort. I did not know you used to be a New Kids fan - I loved them !! Even went to see them in concert when I was at Uni - took my younger cousin so it seemed like I was accompaning her (these days I wouldn't care). One Night in Bangkok was one of my very fav songs. Still is. Hope we get to see that live performance. I liked what I could hear. We got to see Dear Even Hansen in San Francisco (when it had started touring around the States). The first album I really remember being obsessed with was The Jazz Singer by Neil Diamond !!! I remember one of my first records was one of the 1981 compilation ones. The first singer I really fell in love with was Bruce Springsteen (still a big fan). I can still remember where I was when a friend introduced me to Dancing in the Dark. True Blue by Madonna was another stand out album that I played over and over (on a holiday to Surfers). In my Uni years I got in 60s music and the musical Hair (which was saw about 3 times when it was in Sydney). I then kind of went off music during my 20s - just listening to the radio in car. In my late 20s I discovered Ricky Martin and Enrique Igleasis. In 2002, when my kids were young a playgroup friend introducte me to Robbie Williams Escapoligy album. I then went back to not listening much music (besides Bruce, Ricky, Enrique and Robbie until my eldest was a teenager and into alternative music and I got back into music again. Linkin Park was probably the first - not an album as such but lots of their songs (I couldn't listen to them for ages after the lead singer died). I'd aften here song Athena was playing and ask who it was. The Maine was one of these bands. American Candy being the first of their albums I loved.These days I listen to a lost of alternative music/ post rock. I keep playlist of current favourite songs in which I rotate out as new songs come along so I can listen to new albums and songs. My hubby is still stuck back in the 80s and doesn't like new music so we rarely listen to music together.

I reakon if there is a "star" being promoted for the show, then perhaps the option to change dates would be good. I've always gone for the show so it's not ever been an issue for me. You did such a good job filming this video (and have such good co-hosts :-)). I love the Capitol Theatre - probably me fav in Sydney. Was not expecting the colourful nun outfits at the end. Love how you can now film a little bit at the end of shows these days. Good free publicity. I now wish I'd gotten to see the show.
