Selling off public housing was never a good idea for quick state revenues, the actual land and suburbs they were in are now lost to public housing forever. GST alone has gifted 2 full years of Housing supply which hasn’t been directed back to public or any-Housing. lifetime stamp duty equals 50%/half of the value of all new housing. Affordability and Housing inflation is ALL State Government’s fault. This answers which of the big three should be made redundant-Local, State or Federal Government ….
