Michael Wittmann was killed during the Battle of Normandy on August 8, 1944, near the town of Saint-Aignan-de-Cramesnil. His Tiger tank was destroyed during an engagement with British forces, likely by a Sherman Firefly from the 1st Northamptonshire Yeomanry, though the exact cause remains debated. His tank was hit and exploded, killing Wittmann and his entire crew.

Like when they are planning to finally build some other tanks from other nations not germany tiger I, germany tiger I, germany AND again tiger I... there are nations like Czechoslovakia, Italy or Spain who had no vehicles from them... or after many years they did a single Japanese tank...

Great video as always - bit like Cobi I’m a bit obsessed with Tigers so have this one just waiting to find the time to build it - glad it doesn’t have those dust extractor pipes on the engine deck like the 131 as they are always so fiddly and too easy to knock off…

peteg cobi are replacing all there older kits with newer ones. Look at what they released so far. all have interiors and turret baskets. look what coming next Panzer 2, Panzer 2 l/E and wesp. Only reason we got new tiger is Tiger 131 found to have a two tone came recently and last tigers came out years ago. so they refreshed them. Tiger 2, Panther, Panzer 1, Panzer 3 not been updated yet. Would love to see a new Nashorn and Hummel.

Awesome video! This format is great and I loved all the comparisons! It had the right amount of speed builds and the comparisons are such a great way to show off the builds! My one complaint with the set is I wish Cobi would include more figures, especially since this is a “Exclusive edition”. And maybe they should make less tigers 😅… Keep up the good work! 🎉

It's funny, how blocky the Tiger is even the Cobi models from 2016 have the same overall shape as the modern ones.

The biggest difference I find between this new era of Tigers and the older models is the attention to detail, and realism to the inner turret. Awesome design as it it allows for more realistic interior space, and doesn't have to rely on a turntable plate, which can be prone to breakage if separated. Probably doesn't happen often but I've heard at least a couple of instances with earlier models. While Cobi clearly favors the Tiger would love to see other tank models adapt this method of turret.

Wow Comparing Quan guan larger scale Tiger to 1/28 scale tiger. Quan guan ok, but buy a 1/12 tiger for interior detail. Also wish people would stop complaining about Cobi releasing Tigers. Tiger 131 needed replacing as paint scheme was found to be two tone, Grey Tiger was showing its age as coming up on 4 years and cobi do replace after awhile. Also cobi doing a complete refresh of all tanks to have better details inside/engines, plus turret rings. Only ones missing are Panther, Tiger 2, Panzer 1 and Panzer 3. Panzer 2 / Panzer 2 L/E and Wesp due out next month with V2

Makes me wonder if Cobi will make a proper late war tiger cupola. Cause the way i see it is that the Tiger 1 Ausf H (like Tiger 131) have that more raised cupola cause it would signify an early war tiger from a late war tiger. The road wheels do thag pretty well. But the change in the cupola would do wonders as well

so… there is no minifig scale, because minifigs aren’t in scale, but there is a scale 1:35 which fits minifigures quite well. There are 2 main tanks scale and these are 1:28 and 1:35. This tiger is 1:28, but a few days ago cobi leaked exacly same tiger but in 1:35 scale. So, this tiger isn’t in minifig scale, but in month or two cobi will relase the same tiger which fits minifigs
