Margaret Thatcher was one of the Greatest Prime Minister's of the 20th Century a conviction politician and towering respected world figure lady Thatcher's greatly and very sadly missed! goodness knows what she would make of the state of affairs now if she were still here with the complete spinless shower we have now!!

As an American, I know nothing about British politics besides the royal family. From what I’ve gathered she’s a very controversial figure. All I really know is that she was a good friend of our president Ronald Reagan who’s one of my favorite presidents. May she rest in peace no matter what you think of her.

The irony!! A Labour MP saying that the rate of inflation is ridiculously high when her party, when it was last in government, managed to get inflation to a ridiculously high 25% in 1975.

What happened to the £300+ billion pounds of Scotland's oil wealth blagged by Westminster ,beginning with Thatcher back in the 1970's ? It has never been accounted for exactly by any government,or accredited properly either ...i wonder why ?

Set an agenda and a direction. The Poll Tax was her Nadir, but made so much progress in other areas. Changed Britain and it's place in Europe. With Reagan they created an era of growing prosperity and strength in the Anglosphere!

He once said in an interview that he addressed her to her face as "Maggie" - something no-one apparently dared to do - and she carried on with the conversation.

You have to understand the era that he represents. He was the spouse of Margaret Thatcher, who many consider one of the greatest British Ministers, some might rightly argue on the equal of Winston Chuchill. So to hear this genrleman reflect on memories is what is so facinating.

Amazing interview! Thank you for sharing this. This distinguished gentleman and his illustrious spouse, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, alas, sadly, we well never see the likes of them again.

"Bin Laden was pro-american" ?? "Every single Muslim was in favor of US war in Afghanistan" ?? REALLY?! Benazir Bhutto (May God forgive you) what did you smoke to spit out so much garbage ?! As a girl, i used to admire her greatly for being the first Muslim woman elected head of government but boy, how delusioned i was! When i grew up i found out she was corrupt and completely sold to the West. At some point, she seems almost envious of Irak's US led invasion, she wished it could be Pakistan so Musharraf would be overthroned and she would be brought back to power on the coattails of the United States. Utterly disgusting.

What a lovely couple. She was the best prime minister Britain ever had, incredibly intelligent and he was the most supportive and loyal husband a woman can have, very different, very simple man with good sense of humour, and yet so similar in his loyalty to the country and to her. They had common interest and genuine love for each other. She couldn't be as great as she was without his love and support. We were lucky to have them.

Margaret Thatcher inspired a lot of hatred in people, but there was no need for the debacle at her her funeral ⚱️ the dead should be respected no matter who they were.
