The bloody Iron Lady was right again. Thank God she refused to go on the Euro and kept the Pound or the UK would have probably been gone forever.

With the benefit of hindsight though, Norman Tebbit and Margaret Thatcher were correct. David Cameron still likes the EU but it's humiliating him.

I always liked John Major,, when he first we live in a classless Society it doesn't matter who you are or what your background is I admire him for making this speech,,, also I my him for speaking out and saying that we are just caretakers for Northern Ireland well said

Sir John Major should have known better back then. Even though I'm American, it's not hard to see that the issue of Europe has been for the British a continuous debate for decades, predating and surviving his time at 10 Downing Street, and it has long been a polarizing issue.

Ooh I think the white haired gentleman in the corner when Tebbit made his speech is either Jim Prior, Ted Heath or even Lord Soames,

It's ted heath ...almost throwing up, that bitchman. There's the late lady Hurd in yellow sitting next to Angela Rumbolt behind him...hope that was helpful :)
