I agree entirely with your assessment of the scenery being beautiful and you capture it well. I think that my home county of Northamptonshire can’t be beat and I honestly wouldn’t trade it for Arizona and the Grand Canyon. Thanks for posting.

We loved Northampton too, when we went from Gayton junction, down the Northampton arm and into the river Nene, it was wonderful. We have a playlist of our River Nene videos, episodes 49 to 58. We adored The Washlands at Northampton, I said when we were there that I could happily live there watching the wildlife! Thanks GB! xx

I didn't find that the bleakness of the winter weather in any way diminished my enjoyment of another excellent video. However, the beautiful still shot at 16:52 had me thinking "I want some of that" so as soon as I've watched this episode I'm off in search of Episode 46. Thanks for posting.

Hi GB, so pleased you enjoyed this one, we find that even on dull, cold, wet days, we still love the canals and views. Even if we’ve been down a certain canal, if we go back in a different season, or even a different month, it always seems to look different! Thank you! xx

Weather, subject matter, videography, commentary, all bang on for an absolutely brilliant video. Then the icing on the cake the sound of your voiceover to draw the viewer even further in. I was so engaged in it all that by the end I was surprised that I hadn’t “caught the sun” 😀😀. You are quite a team, thanks for posting.

Hi guys, what a lovely day at the Braunston Historic Boat Rally. It was very interesting seeing all the old boats and hearing the history. I love the old steam boats, it must be quite a job keeping the boilers stoked up and it must take up a lot of space to store the coal. The old diesels sound great too. I really enjoyed the episode excellent work guys. Stay safe and I'll see you on the next one.👍🏻👍🏻❤

I wish I could find narrowboat content that deals with life INSIDE the boat. Every video seems to be the view outside the boat. Lovely though that is, how about a bunch of you folks turning the view inward and only inward? That would be a bit different and really informative to we on the land. Thanks.

Thanks so much for sharing those historic boats with us all. I'm amazed at just how big they are/were! I think of some of the challenges modern-day boaters have with narrow bits and tunnels, then try to imagine those big, old working boats going along the same areas. Those captains were true professionals!

Yes, they certainly know how to manage those big old working boats! Love the sounds of those thumping engines! I think nowadays people are in too much of a hurry sometimes and that’s when things go wrong, slow and steady is the way on the canals, no drama, just calm, relaxing cruising! Thanks Chris! xx

Going back to the old boats one good thing they only have a service once a year your lovely boat I think it's every 250 hours so in summer I would think it would be once a month from May to October then rest off year may be 2 more times the older the boat it loves old oil that's why they don't leek unless you change oil more then it leeks because oil is thiner when old it's ficker so don't leek I think I like a old boat

It's all in fun and I use to have to keep my cars and boats clean like Martin does with the boat but now am unable to do so and it drives me nuts at time. So now I just watch Martin do it thanks Martin I don't get as tired now lol. Bless you both please keep posting I wont comment much but every now and then I'll try.
