another awesome review my friend....that knife is especially appealing....it has an intended purpose for which it appears to be quite well suited to. I too come from a military family, Paratrooper at Normandy, Marine in Korea, Army, Navy Seabee....warriors all.... they would have appreciated this weapon to a man...thanks for showing it today!

Howdy. I played soldier for a big chunk of my life, 3rd Infantry Division for most of that chunk. I was a medic. I was always covered in knives. Had em in my boots, pockets, on my gearvin a bunch of places. I had them stashed all over me and in my gear because I learned extremely fast that when you needed a stabby, pokey, slashy thing you needed it fast. The most glaring example was when a young grunt drowned when his humvee rolled into a drainage ditch (in Baghdad) and he drowned because his vest got snagged on something. Knives aren't just for using on p-pull. I used my knives for all kinds of stuff from opening MREs to prying the door off of a burning humvee. It had rolled over a mine and the frame was buckled, doors were jammed. I used a Masters Of Defense Mark IV CQB. Thing was like 3/8" thick. It's totally useless for cutting, but boy-oh-boy was it great for ripping things apart❤

Yeah, that is called bill boarding, and a lot of people do prefer a cleaner look to knives. Personally, the only writing I like on a knife is the steel, name, and date of manufacture, in small print.
