I think about 40% of viewers are outside the US and can't access a Kabar anyway, or it would be twice the price for them, so something like this will always become popular.

I bought this knive on the 10 of this month after seeing your review , I was thinking of buying the Eafengrow 141 or the Eafengrow 146 but this Ba kor polar II is in my opinion better than the Eafengrow for batoning and chopping , it impressed me a lot seeing you batoning that big and hard block of wood , to be honest that was the reason I bought one (. Finally I find a knive for the end of the world scenario). Great job , and I want to thank you for doing all those great reviews one comment , I too don't like the heat climate , if I did I would go back to Cuba ( I love the cold weather ) bye for now my KZbin friend 😃👍

I'm not a fan of wood handles on knives. They shrink and swell with the humidity. And they are easy to damage. But you're getting a leather sheath, which is almost unheard of in this price range and the Fire steel looks pretty substantial. Replacing those scales with micarta would be pretty easy.
