Hi i’m a protestant. But I want to become a catholic. I am Filipino btw. Can anyone help me how to convert? Do I just attend the mass and ask the priest? My background - I came from Seventh day adventist, I came to a realizations that it has many restrictions or forbid for us to eat like pork, shrimps, we cannot dance to or listen to rock songs, certain dresses for men and women they have a lot of restrictions and it feels suffocating (will not go into details but it didnt help me grow in christ). Next I found born again christian I felt the Lord there but still lacking cause it made me comfortable with sin and the idea of onced saved always saved made me backslide and not go back to the church. It is too hard for me to “fellowship with other believers in evangelical churches cause it required for us to socialize, do activities inside the church, etc it is exhausting and draining and I’m not a social people talking about the church of christian churches, it is full of entertainment, play room, gym, cafe shop. Some of them feel bad if you dont attend anymore or it felt like force. My brother introduced me to catholicsm. He taught me about the rosary and the miracles of the saints and how the catholic church is the one church founded by God himself. I’m just amaze by the simple mass people gathered every sunday morning. I pray the rosary in secret even though I am not a catholic. And I noticed the difference in my life. It is like people around me are getting nice to me, my depressive family are now getting happy and have better outlook in life. Our house felt like home for the first time. So I decided to convert. I found God favor in this church.

I’m now interested everything about the catholicsm, excorcism and miracles. I’m also interested in rosaries. We can talk about it and I also want to learn. I still consider myself as not so knowledgeable in catholic faith.

Yes, offer it up. My mother used to tell me (when I complained of something hurting) to offer the pain up to the lowest soul in purgatory. Mother Angelica offered up to release souls out of purgatory. 🤗

I was fortunate to have seen The Talbot Brothers at the Fountain Blu Hilton hotel on Miami Beach for a big Charismatic conference back in the early 80's. Andre Crouch, The Pat Terry Group, and many more. We were just sitting on the ballroom floor. Funny thing, I ended up running large hotel conventions and the Hilton was our contract. IBM booked the hotel for a few months back in the 80's for new training for their people. Our company was separate from the hotels and we had contracts to provide the staff and the equipment for their conventions. IBM wanted to know all the Jewish people on our staff. We told them to pound sand. True story.

People of all age groups are seeking approval. Approval from the Church, family, friends, and the world. Sadly folks will go from one extreme to the next trying to accomplish the mission. This gentleman experienced just that. The Bible warns all peoples of false prophets. Call no man your father; Matthew 23:9 states, “Call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. The pope is a false prophet, an illegal usurper, overseeing the Catholic church which has been the longest standing false religion more than any other man made religion. The only secrets are the those that have enslaved billions of followers down through the ages. In world war 2 the Vatican and catholic church was instrumental spiriting out NAZI generals by masking them as Priest, namely the Jesuits. The only safe thing for a person stuck in the church is to FLEE as fast as you can. It is the epitome of a cult. Jeremiah 23:16 (NKJV): “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of the Lord.’” Matthew 7:15 (NKJV): “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

His testimony will undoubtedly inspire and help many.🙌🏽 Thank you, Mr. Trask, for having him on the show. May God continue to pour His grace, mercy, and abundant blessings into Jerry's life and that of his family as he leads them in their Catholic faith!🙏🏼 Blessings!

I’m inclined to think that the rich believe in the prosperity gospel because they want to justify their neglect of the poor. Some rich people are extremely generous but they are few and far between.

Great testimony Jerry, sorry you suffered so much rejection. You sound as if you healed from it, but it can leave a deep wound in the soul and we need to have our soul healed which is something we can't do, but God does. And if you don't mind me saying, we normally need the help of someone who has a special anointing in healing soul wounds, just as we would go to someone with a healing anointing for the physical body. You had to overcome a lot. You didn't say what you went through to overcome the booze and drugs. I know it couldn't be just willpower. I also surrendered to the Lord when I saw what a sinner I was, and how hopeless I was. That was a big change for me. Having the Holy Spirit makes you a different person and now you see the things of God. You see the kingdom. I live near Fort Worth (Kennedale) and I go with church members to serve the homeless every third Sunday, out on Lancaster. Keep standing in grace.

I'm kinda on a similar journey, nondenom, to reformed baptist, to LCMS Lutheran, now considering Catholicism. Funny thing about integrated church, is my son gets less bored at Lutheran/ Catholic Church than the rock concert driven nondenom.

Hi. Watched these two in the wrong order but as with the other video I found it very helpful and both have given me much pause for thought…as before, questions and concerns remain and this has perhaps added others….social media comments sections not being the best place to air these I’d just say thanks for this video and for your previous replies to me…the journey continues…as it does I will weigh the truths I recognised here whilst holding onto others…namely outside of the Catholic Church (not being Catholic) I have met and been deeply blessed by some truly Godly folk, had breakthroughs and personal epiphanies and witnessed some remarkable things, all of which have, over a very long time, combined to lead me out of darkness and into the light…this ongoing sanctification may usher me through your doors, it may not…I seek only God’s will in this.

This makes me tear up because of the depth and beauty of the conversion experience, the recognition of the beauty and comprehensiveness of the Catholic faith and at the same time to be aware of the fact that so many Catholics are ignorant or lacking in knowledge and understanding of the majesty of the truth which is just right there.
