Thank you for your kind words and support. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. But one thing I’ve learned is that as long as you is that no matter what one faces God will give you the strength to endure even when you don’t believe it. If your are putting the needs of others above yours it’s amazing what you can endure. I do know that the man I was before my life was turned upside down with the birth of my was not one worthy of anything. That experience made me a far better man today.

@@jeromepopiel388 good question. I don’t know. We were there initially for club foot surgery. It was supposed to be a couple days and ended up being 34 days. That was the only time we were in that hospital. That club foot surgery was not successful because he didn’t stand on his own to put weight on his feet. We didn’t do anymore surgeries until we moved to Idaho in 95.

Dear Sir, your story touched me deeply. My Husband and I went through so much of what you did with Your Lance, in 1977. We had an 18mo. Old daughter and then gave birth to twin boys. Little Jeff, the second born, passed away the day he was born. He was the bigger twin. Zachary, the first born, lived 13 days. He no wall between the ventricles of his heart. He was deaf in one ear. We have experienced many of your feelings. I also had my uterus removed the day they were born. We had been welcoming as many children as God would bless us with. We ended up being able to adopt two baby Girls. You showed many many people, including your dear Son, great love! Lance loved you right back. You and your Wife will only know, in Heaven, how your loving sacrifices affected our world. Looking at my little Son, in his hospital bed with his arms stretched out,as if he were on a cross, made me realize the pain the our Blessed Mother suffered when she stood beneath His cross!

Growing up in a devout Catholic family we were always told that “All Catholics are Christians but not all Christians are Catholics!” I had no idea that there are a lot of anti Catholics out there! Half of my mother’s family are Protestants but there was no animosity there. I’m assuming coming from a small pacific island had something to do with the lack of animosity among the family members!

We believe in one Holy apostolic Catholic Church, it was founded by our Lord Jesus Christ and the 12 apostles and many new believers , and the gates of hell will never prevail over it, all others so called Christian Churches were founded in hate and opposition to the Catholic Church , they are always brain washing their members against the Church, just like in the old Testament there was one way to God through Moses’s teaching and the prophets but the enemy made so many other ways to fight against Moses and the Law of God

What does one do with the current Pope and his beliefs?
@CatholicReCon6 күн бұрын
Great question. One continues as he normally would. I think this quote from St. Thomas More (addressing Martin Luther) says a lot: “What especially moves me is this: that if according to Luther’s idea the vices of men are to be imputed to the offices they hold, not only will the Papacy fall, but royalty, and dictatorship, and consulate, and every other kind of magistracy, and the people will be rulers, without law, and without order.” "Vices of men" can easily be replaced with "unclear comments of men" and remind us that the pope is not impeccable. Never was, never is. Furthermore, I for one have no business critiquing every single thing that comes out of the pope's mouth. None of us have his role and therefore have no clue what it means to deliver universal messages across all cultures and situations. We will never sleep until we trust in God and pray for the pope and his extremely difficult role. People are leaving the Church to find what? A perfect earthly leader? Not going to happen. Meanwhile, the magisterium will continue without error.

People who criticized the Pope regarding his statement "All paths to reach God" are worried that if they preach the Gospel they will no longer believe, because people think that all religions will go to heaven, peoe don't believe in themselves, I believe all religion lead to heaven but whether the path is right is what is important, as a Catholic i believe the right path is through Jesus Christ, who is led by the Pope on earth.
