Are family members to follow one another BLINDLY... or even to be TAKEN IN WITHOUT ANY AWARENESS like in rc infant baptism ... Wldnt it rather that each family member needs to be personally convicted of the faith ?... Tho of course, having one or more family members pre-ceding / al-ready in the faith does help.

My wife was raised Muslim and I was a fallen away Catholic. God used me by allowing me to suffer from my sin in order to be brought back home to Him. My wife was first baptized in Nigeria at a Baptist church before coming here. After we met she began going to mass with me. One night in the perpetual adoration chapel at our parrish she had a full religious experience in from of the Blessed Sacrament. That was when I truly started to form her in the Catholic faith. Glory be to God.

Greetings from the Czech Republic and thank you very much for the beautiful testimony. I love how Miss Shivani describes her zeal after being filled with the Holy Spirit. I also experienced it a year ago at a charismatic renewal event. After being filled with the Holy Spirit, I could not stop talking about God and would run to preach the gospel to the whole world. I was just 50 years old at that time and everyone around me was surprised by my transformation.😀 Even now, as I write about it, I feel that longing in my heart.

Such a beautiful testimony and I can identify so much...I am a revert after 32 years of being away and when she mentioned crying that first time in the chapel below her room I am with her. That first Mass, watching the priest walk down the isle, I cried and cried for a couple of months. What is weird and unexplainable is that there’s no logical reason why I cried it was just some part of my soul knew I had been saved. Such a beautiful story God bless this young woman from Pune

I didn't think I needed to hear this today, but I needed to hear to love people where they are. Being secure in my own Faith will keep me from being angry at them when really I am angry at the devil for blinding them and I need to feel secure in God's LOVE that His Will IS going to be done and instead of seeing myself as planting a seed, I visualize that at that moment, God's job for me is to water or nurture a seed that is already planted. And I trust God has me passing by the garden to care for the soul just for that moment, and God will have someone else come along who will water and nurture them again and again. I may not see the bloom or even the seedling, but I must respect that God has a plan and my job is to love that person in THAT DIVINE MOMENT, not lose my temper. ❤

Yeah I can relate to this women testimony about being broken hearted,for I’ve come to realize that there’s a right way to love and a wrong way to love there’s a right way to care for others and there’s a wrong way to care for others there’s a right way to help others and there’s a wrong way to help others and so on and so on,what I’m trying to say is that a person has to learn of and understand what is God’s way of loving and way of life which for me is so difficult and different to learn of and understand it.But if a person gives all possible time to endeavor to learn of God’s will and way of life in the Catholic Church then that’s the doorway to learning and know of how and what God wants us to understand of how we should live according to his teachings of life

Sister dear, Shivani, if you want to study more of our Faith with holy scripture, you study too the holy Church Fathers too n the history of the holy church. Also, St. Paul's epistles also n epistle s of others like of St.. Peter, James, etc. give us all the Nesecities of our complete faith. God bless you, both. From India, north-east.

U mentioned that u pray to God to let Christians feel loved by Him...I hope that u were NOT IMPLYING that Christians ie Protestants against the rc church, hv NOT / NEVER EXPERIENCED THE LOVE OF GOD ... only rc ppl hv...n that it's only in n thro rc that ppl can FEEL LOVED? Since u are basing ur stand for rc to be true ... on u FEELING LOVED by GOD ALONG UR "rc-faith journey" ... what about those conversions to ANY OTHER world RELIGION where the sojourner ALSO experiences POSITIVE EXPERIENCES OF BEING LOVED BY "A SPIRITUAL BEING"... The Bible teaches us that the devil comes as an angel of light. This is how Eve was tricked to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge. This was the beginning of the “secret knowledge” quest of mankind into the occult. Christ is the way the truth and the life. Everything the devil offers is a counterfeit of Christ and His Church. The devil tempts us with a “good” and this takes us down the deceptive path. But real peace, and true freedom is not possible without Christ. It’s like Plato’s cave- you think you know but you only see shadows and you have not experienced divine grace. When you receive this grace you come to know in an instant what a lifetime of learning could never teach. I encourage you to ask Jesus to reveal himself to you. Ask him to show you how God wants to be worshipped and to reveal to you how much he loves you. If you are right and Jesus is equal to all other world religions then nothing will happen to persuade you. If Jesus is real, and if he really loves you, then grace will come and when it does respond to it… keep responding in faith. No one can convince someone through words. Only the Holy Spirit can. So ask for it. I’ve heard it once said that you either worship God or worship yourself. Worshipping God involves humility and self-surrender. When our aim is selfish gain and what’s in it for us then we really, deep down, worshipping ourselves. Salvation is a journey and it’s long. It’s a relationship and it’s beautiful. That’s the most I can say about it- I’m a convert to Catholicism myself. This was a beautiful testimony and I too found Jesus in the Eucharist when I had no idea he was there or what it meant. I just wandered into an empty Catholic church at really sad moment in my life when I needed God. Someone I knew had committed suicide and I couldn’t cope. I was wandering the city walking alone and I saw a steeple lit up off in the distance so I walked to it. I walked into the sanctuary and instinctively knelt. He was THERE, tangibly. I had no preconceived belief in the Real Presence. I too felt complete peace while in there. I was drawn back over and over. A little over a year later I entered the Church and became Catholic. I have never looked back. He is everything to me.

Brethrens, please study the church Fathers' testimony of their Faith and their teachings, fore, you would come to know the actual faith/church that God really built a Church after the Isreal had rejected His misiahnic salvation ministry, also see that the chatholic church is that church that complied the holy Scriptures and it's been till date it's thousands of years now, than those man made so call church or congregation s or lot others. I think you will also be satisfy by reading the holy Psalm 87.

Feelings is not evident that a thing is true.... Feelings when one is in a place or near something no matter how "holy" the place, the thing is deemed to be ...is not guaranteed to be coming from God ! A thing is TRUE only when the SOURCE IS TRUE...To a Christian it is The Word of God...The Bible ALONE,!

Indeed anyone can grow attachment to something that one repeatedly uses, what-more with POWER-BACKED "teachings" attached...A GROWING "LOVE FOR / RELATIONSHIP WITH RC-MARY" does NOT MAKE the praying of d rosary A GODLY PRACTICE! Dont u know there are also BEADS-ROLLING PRAYING in other religions...Do not these also get attached...n grow in love for the DEITY n for the BEADS even, eventually??? Dont u agree that these ought to be accepted as VALID ...if d praying of the rc-ROSARY is claimed to be valid??? If not...then do tell me...WHY THE DOUBLE STANDARD of d rc RELIGION??? Humble yourself, pray to the Holy Spirit for an open mind and a non-hardened heart. As each one of us have a personal relationship with God, ur personal experience in the class will be uniquely yours.

So, why U recommend an absurd thing as RCIA??? That is the LAST THING to be thinking about to find Truth.... Absolute Truth not "absolute" as in this world's definition... but ABSOLUTE ACCORDING TO GOD...ie He alone DEFINES N DECLARES Truth n Laws... To TRULY live...
