The 8472 ship designs, organic technology, telepathy, and sheer overwhelming firepower are a very clear rip from the Babylon 5 species of Vorlons. The outcome would still be the same, as Vorlons were many millions of years beyond humanity's technology and tended to become quite aggressive to aliens entering their territory. So the Borg would have had no chance if this was a crossover. Now had it been the Shadows or the even worse Third Space aliens, the poor Borg would have entered a Lovecraftian nightmare.

YES! Awesome! I loved this scene so much! I searched for it and couldn't find it, so I dusted off the old VHS tape and digitized it! It was so ironic that the Hirogen are pretty much the bad guys, BUT the leader was WISE and HUMBLE, by putting an arrogant Nazi in his place! Cool and freaky!!

HIs attitude is like that of the Borg. Why do you deserve this? He's like, "We are German. Need I say more?" Just like the Borg's response to questioning them. "We are Borg," as if that covers everything! LOL So, it really fits that this same actor at some point also played a Borg character.

Eh ... In STTOS - they did things a lot with Nazi's - because they had all these Nazi costumes and sets like the '40's and old cars - so it was cheaper for them to make those episodes than something where they had to make it all look like it was from the 23rd Century. I don't know WTF is going on here. .
