There is NO real copyright issues with stable diffusion AI models. The idea of AI getting pieces from human made artwork was FABRICATED by some artists that are trying to slow down this technology. Is technically IMPOSSIBLE to a stable diffusion model really copy another artwork, even if it is ordered to do exactly that. This happen because the way of that AI works. But yes, the model can imitate some artist STYLE if ordered to, how? By the same method humans can: observing the artwork and learning the patterns. But style isn't copyright protected (or a lot of human artistis should be sued), only original artwork. To train itself, the AI do what every human can do: OBSERVE artwork. So artists want to be paid only to have their art seen? Sharks bite me, becase in that case I, a human being, already saw A LOT of artwork in my life, I'm probably in a debt of millions of dollars! Oh, is free for humans but paid for machines? What the difference? If you are an artist, study how AI can improve your work and don't be a jerk: you KNOW that AI is incapable to copy anyone and don't spread lies only to protect your butt.

There can be no lazy genius in art, because true artistic brilliance demands action, dedication, and the relentless pursuit of creation.

A Fun exercise for Mistake 1; Pick up Sailor moon, and take a look at the hands in that manga. you'll be pretty shocked most of the time at the lack of level of detail or anatomy the author uses, and yet it is one of the defining titles in the magical girl genre. Other mangas do it as well, but Sailor moon is the one that really stood out to me whilst reading it at just how the hands were handled in most panels.

A lot of modern manga uses photos and 3D nowadays and it saves a lot of time and looks just as good to if you know what your doing. The biggest mistake is leaving 3DS and photos as is with the built in filtering tools. Sure they're getting better but manual tracing and hatching/screentones is still needed to make it look more traditional.

My problem is that the panel i envision in my head is ahead of my skills, or the end result needs tweaking to try to hit the right expression, and while revising storyboards is easy, having what was supposed to be a flashy panel look bad, due to inking or shading, simply throws me off too much, since those are meant to be important panels :(
