Actually just saw this show! There are definitively some slow moments in the show where I could see some people getting bored, but I did think it was really spectacular. It felt like the kind of show you have to travel to see, because there is no way a show like that could tour. But it was definitively not cheap.

Were you mistaken about the crab legs at the brunch? I've seen some very recent reviews where they're still being offered.
@MikeTheVegasGuy
@MikeTheVegasGuy 3 күн бұрын
I hope that they still offer them at the brunch. All I said was that they took it out of their official verbiage on the website. Previously they advertised it as a "champagne and crab leg brunch." But since they raised the prices, I would hope that they continue to have the same menu. I'm unsure why they changed the marketing.

Just had dinner here. It was terrible. Really is the all time absolutely worst buffet of my lifetime. I still remember pre-pandemic Vegas buffets, where cheap prices lured people in who stayed and spent money on everything else. Those days are gone for good, sadly. Anyway, it was BAD. Just plain not very good, very overpriced very limited basic food with a hair in my vegetables as a “bonus” I fell for the buffet lure, learned my lesson.

Totally agree with your review! We saw it this past October and had an absolute blast! I'd also point out that for $99/ticket ($117 with fees), this is the cheapest show/experience you can get on the Strip from one of the best production troops (Speigleworld) on the Strip! P.S.- The drink prices at the bars are a bit steep. I'm surprised you didn't mention their restaurant, Diner Ross as a little side dish pre/post-show option which is located on the 2nd floor of the venue. Great food and the ambience is extremely 70s! Another point if you go see it: If you take your drinks inside the Glitterloft, you'll be required to use a cup with a lid and there isn't anywhere to place your drinks. You'll be expected to hold on to them the entire show. I'll be going again this January and looking forward to re-living the experience with a friend who hasn't seen it yet.

Thanks for watching! I try to keep my reviews about the shows themselves. Things like the drink prices aren't relevant to the show, in my opinion. I have not dined at Diner Ross, so I didn't want to give the false impression that I had. I'm hoping to see the show again next month, hopefully I'll try Diner Ross then.

Just the usual advice from my ticketing tutorial. Check the brokers. Expect to pay $50-60 for X Rocks. I wouldn't pay more than that for it. You might find it for less, though. Thanks for watching!

I'm with you. I agree it's a technical wonder and you should see it if you have the means and opportunity, but I also found myself bored at times. It is a very slow show, and after all the hype I heard prior to seeing it, when I finally did get a chance to see it, I felt a bit let down.

Price including resort fee is an important part of any hotel review.
@MikeTheVegasGuy
@MikeTheVegasGuy Ай бұрын
Hotel prices fluctuate too much. Any reviewer who gives you hotel prices is either just telling you what they paid that night, or they are making up an estimate. A room that sometimes costs $50 can cost over $500 during the Superbowl or F1 etc... you always have to shop around if price is your number one priority. But I definitely should start talking about that in my hotel reviews. Thanks for the question!

Stayed there for 3 nights like you, yes it's a walk to the room, but we all need some exercise!! Enjoyed my stay and for me one of the best parts was the location - across from Caesars, a block from the Bellagio, and the LINQ Promenade with all the bar/restaurants - great.

I don't like the open bathroom concept. Need a wall or room for the bathroom. If you use the tub the whole room gets humid and gross. The rest of the room is nice but that open bathroom ruins it for me.

Hello Mike. You mentioned the Horseshoe Hotel doesn't allow guests to use the balcony. Is that across the board for all Hotels in Vegas? Just curious. Thanks.
@MikeTheVegasGuy
@MikeTheVegasGuy Ай бұрын
Good question! No, not all of them. I thought I had mentioned in the video that some new rooms in the adjacent Versailles Tower at Paris now have usable balconies... The Cosmopolitan most notably has balconies in many of their rooms. I'm guessing these older rooms are simply not up to today's building codes? For many years, it has been considered a liability for hotels to allow guests out onto private balconies. Risk of falling, items blowing away in high winds, cooling/heating the rooms etc... most hotels built in the 80s, 90s, or 00s were built without any balconies, while ones like this were locked shut. I wouldn't be shocked if, in the next 5-10 years, Horseshoe remodels and opens up these balcony rooms. But who knows!

The tub design is incredibly stupid. Instead of having you face out towards the window, they have you facing a wall with nothing on it.L - not even a TV or a picture or anything.

not blaming the Palms... I blame the "Influencer" who get a whole table full of lobster, was confronted by management.. that he had to eat it all before he could get anymore... He "soiled the table" then threw them all away (filming himself).... Palms should have banned all "influencers" and "YTers"... Instead they punished ALL their customers... Palms is on the no go list... but hey, they don't care... they still have endless lines of losers willing to throw their money away...

Why would anyone be that stupid to pay $90 for one meal? This is why everything is so expensive now because of stupid people willing to pay whatever someone wants. There is no way a dinner is worth $90 for one person.
