Yappy I only buy honey off the side of the road with the comb in it. The last really really good honey that I got was in Louisiana and it was very dark. So good. But I'm out again. So my question is what kind of bees have you found to make the very best honey and why also what areas of the country and why. What causes the difference in the colors of honey ??? Is it age primarily ? I live in Texas but so the roads I travel are mostly Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and sometimes Mississippi. But I'm thinking of buying some honey out of my area to sample them. So what makes the best honey?

We have a tree in our front yard that goes to flower every Spring. And you’re right you can hear them in the tree and if you miss the tree with a little water, this black cloud comes off the tree and then it goes right back.

We would have so many bees on the ivy next door but I love the sound...we won't this year though, the ivy has been cut down.
