you need to make a video on how to get the software installed and work with a fire tablet. If you promote this tablet You need google services and this is not on the amazon store. If not i would support Samsung or ipad tablets.

This instruction is out-dated. Now is 2024. the SmartThings app is not able to take any gib api address to manually change. the android/ios version is not work out as well.

I just installed mine today on my Android phone and works great. Is there a way to share the Konnected device to my wife's Android phone or will I need to independently set it up on her phone like I did mine and will that work having 2 users on 1 device? Thank you!

hello, i am planning to buy two pro boards to replace my 20 years old tecnoalarm and add new functionalities, but I have some questions: 1. does it needs home assistant (to be armed/disarmed for intrusion detection etc) or can it run indipendently? If i have a blackout, HA is down, etc 2. If i install 2 or more pro boards there is a way to sync them or do i have to control them separately? because on the channel there are no specific video about that. 3. I saw all the videos but are very old. In meantime is something changed about the costs? I mean, is still free or to use it, i have to register somewhere and pay some fees? 4. does the pro board has some output? I would like to attach an opto isolated relay to example, open a gate, etc 5. do you ship to Italy?

I recently got one of these and im wondering about the door contact terminal. Is that going to be integrated into the state of the door at anytime. If the door is cracked open that's the only way the system could know its open but it always registers as closed. I then end up opening it to close it.

To get full functionality, we are forced to buy a 12 zone system when we only have 6 zones. The 6 zone system should accommodate the triggers as well. It seems like a bad design and false advertising.

Let me just say that wire bundle and usb-power module on the wall is the worst looking installation I have ever seen! it look 10X work then just keeping your legacy touch keypad!

The newest, best news is that the panel ships with ESPHome compatibility. Home Assistant software can now connect natively to this integration. A tutorial showing how to program scripts and automations to work with Alarmo would have saved me a lot of time. Found a PoE USB C adapter that passes both 2A of charging and Ethernet to a Lenovo tablet I am using for a keypad interface. Industrial velcro keeps it on the wall. I have programmed Home Assistant to send an email to my phone's text messaging. A custom ringtone notification for this sender lets me know that a break-in has occurred. No monthly fee this way.

Why? the old system works okay; just learn how to use it.

When the power goes out, will the alarm notify me of this? My old 25year old panel will so I imagine this will. Can you confirm please? And will the backup battery power my router?

Any way to do this without removing the original system/keypads (as if you're just installing an additional keypad, albeit a smart one)? The keypads are able to get info on alarm system status and zones and whatnot, so id imagine you could design one that relays that info to a cloud service

As an Alarm Technician, I've never understood why bother putting the resistor in the panel, if they didn't want to supervise the loop then disable it in programming. Idk, just screams lazy. End of line resistors should be at the end of line, otherwise it defeats the purpose.

That's awesome news, and thanks for putting out the firmware that lets us get our liquidated boards to have full functionality! I'm glad I took a gamble on that because I really do prefer the POE wired connection.

I've had a Konnected Alarm Panel Pro hooked to my existing alarm panel for about six months and I love it. I use the Homeseer Home automation platform and the two work perfectly together. Without any subscription I can get an alert on my phone anytime a door or window opens. I also have a routine that locks all doors when I turn in for the night using my Schlage door locks, then checks to make sure all doors are closed using the Alarm Panel Pro. The product is simple to install and just works.

Great update, awesome. Real honest customer service. A+ Just kicking myself for not picking up the wifi only model which I need to replace an older unit that's overheating for unknown reason. It's beyond warranty so my only choice was to rebuy new.
