I got my BlackVue dashcam fitted there after watching your video of your T700 fitting. I was initially going for that setup but changed to the BlackVue at the last minute. I was really impressed! The IAM driving course is well worth doing. It is developed from the Police Advanced systems ( RoadCraft). It includes defensive driving, observation ( with commentary if desired), positioning for fast progress. We did skid pan training too in our days too.😊

Tip #4 - make sure your car is in good condition, all lights, turn signals, brakes, horn, windshield wipers, tires, are in very good working condition. They put those things on cars for good reasons. Check them periodically and fix them immediately if they don't work. Tip #5 - obey all traffic laws. In 98% of all cases, those were put there by much better drivers than you, for a reason.

Nice video, thanks. For me, tip number one is to assume every other road user is a fucking idiot and adopt your driving accordingly. Tip two in a 400+ HP car is to not reduce margins of safety during overtakes or on blind corners, and don’t forget a performance car has massively more powerful brakes than the dickhead tailgating you. Tip three is drive well within your personal limits. Keep your content coming.

They are ok but a few years later I’d say best option is to buy whole new shifters and have them fitted/fit them yourself. Much cleaner and well worth the extra cost.

Of course, plenty of old generation 45s about at high miles and loads of c classes. As long as they are properly maintained they should keep going for many years :)

I WAS a huge Mercedes fan, having driven each model C Class since 2006. Then I owned a 2021 A200d hatch from new. It was THE worst quality Mercedes ever. Rattles, cheap plastics, endless infotainment issues. That interior was just horrendous. I got rid of it after 10 months. They just couldn’t fix all the issues. Then I made an even bigger mistake. I bought a new W206 C220d. What a lemon. It broke down after 350km from new: electronic failure rendered it unsafe to drive for 5 weeks until the module could be replaced. Then all the rattles and electronic gremlins started. The MBUX was crap, CarPlay never worked, centre screen turned off intermittently. Endless rattles and squeaks. Endless software upgrades. After 9 months I got rid of it. Mercedes has gone cheap on all fronts: below quality interior plastics and materials, crap software. The golden age of Mercedes during the 1970s and 1980s are long gone.

Haha! It’s just on gravel you can hear all the stones flicking up in this car, they also fill the fender intakes so I carefully plod along at 2-5mph instead of 10-20 :)

I have the Mercedes E450 cabriolet.. it has the same engine that's in the C43 but with 365hp as oppose to 400 odd hp.. and I got 30.4mpg with it in Eco mode..

Id love one of these but ive got 2 kids and to be honest im quite happy with my maserati quattroporte. Ive got the 3.8 ferrari engine version but i do love that amg v8 i had a c63 and loved it

I’ve got a more practical car for family and dog now too. Nice to have something I don’t mind leaving in supermarket car parks aswell! It’s a great car to be honest, il get it on the channel soon as it’s interesting and was quite the bargain :)

@ABAUTOAMG yes my plan was to have a family car and something like a R8 for a second car but in reality I'm a car dealer and I can't really justify having 2 cars. So with the quatroporte I've got best of both worlds ofcourse it's not has fast as say your aston or look as good but it's a ferrari v8 so that has a cool factor and it's also pretty reliable doesn't cause me any issues.
