Stunning car. The AMG input has made this the best Aston Martin ever. Ive got 2 kids so had to go for something bigger. I just got a maserati quattroporte tropheo with the 3.8 v8

I leased the car for 3 years and I enjoyed very much. But for electric reasons she died on me twice while I was driving it on the freeway. Really unpleasant sensation. At Aston Martin they fixed every time. A couple of months before the end of the lease,she broke down again. This time she was at AM for a month and half. That erased from my mind all the pleasantness I had driving a Vantage!😢😢😢

The amount of negativity out there was really making me change my mind, but after watching your video, I have a new passion for wanting to own one again. I really like the fact that you are so happy with the Vantage and so proud that your hard work got you your dream car. That is something to be proud of. I just traded in my '21 M4 Competition--a great car! on a '24 Corvette Stingray. My 4th Vette since 2006. Corvettes and Porsches are cars you can feel real passion for. So is the Aston--always one of my favorite cars. Looking forward to many more videos!

Like you I'm not necessarily a fan of the badge (although Aston in general has very nice cars) but this one is certainly at the top. Top review blog. And I love the comment at the end about you not being a "fashionista". I am the same. I just love cars. Have owned my Ariel Atom for 11 years now and I would say it probably gets even more attention than your Aston but the Atom does not sound anywhere near as good! But I get very used to people taking pics and videos and having chats at petrol stations at refuelling time. Of all ages and both sexes. Young infants to elderly grandparents! That Aston Martin would be my dream car and in the same colour/spec also. Perhaps the roadster version for me. Keep up the good work.

Thank you! Big congrats too the F1 Editions are amazing! It was done by Aston Martin Works who I bought the car from. They said any main dealer can do it. If you contact your local dealer they should be able to get it fitted and setup for you 👍

It’s a great car and I’m happy for you. My only question is - these cars seem to suffer massive depreciation. I’m a “Porsche guy” since 1984 when I got my first one. I’ve been looking to buy a 991 turbo but I’ve been very turned off at how Porsche has allowed speculators to control the market for their higher trim models. Most all the inventory in the US for 991 turbos are cars that have been sold to speculators; they ream them out for 6 months of so, abusing them and then flipping them back to the dealer. This allows the dealers to jack the price up $50-100k over list price. So, I’ve left the brand and started looking at Aston among others, including the new Mercedes AMG GT 63. Of all the options the Aston is my favorite until I look at their resale value. Do you see this issue in the UK and, if so, was it a factor in your decision-making process?

Better looks, better build and trim than the new model. Aston should not have bottled it and reverted back to the classic front from its DB range. Iconic car - I have one and the same colour, black rims and callipers. Like how much you use Track mode ;)

Hey David, I’d always be cautious with a high mileage Aston as I hear parts can be very expensive. It does have a lot of Mercedes parts though so you might find better value going for a Mercedes AMG specialist if something goes wrong. I’ve not had mine long enough and it’s only done 15k miles so I can’t speak from personal experience yet but any big costs il be sharing here along with my ownership. Fingers crossed there won’t be any soon though 🤞

Hey! Thank you. I’ve never had any squeaks braking in mine but I hear it’s very common. My CLA45s I got new from the factory and it’s always had squeaky brakes. Very common in performance cars. It might be good to check if the pads are correctly fitted to be sure.

That is fair enough in terms of sound. It’s more of a big v8 muscle sound I think you could say. It’s a fantastic engine and setup though.
