You can do instant wr in Tekken 7 and older Tekkens its just very hard. In general playing Tekken 8 babied me alot compared to combo mechanics in Tekken 7 and Tekken 6. I litrally had to relearn execution fundamentals going back. Tekken 8 degraded my execution so much when going back older tekkens Examples: Dash Jabs - I noticed this when going back and trying to the staple ws2 combo on Devil Jin (Ws2 !S dash ewgf, 4 x dash jabs , f+3+4 or Kazuyas staple wall carry combo ewgf, ewgf, 4 x dash jab into b2,1. Mini Dash - I noticed on Josie ws2,1 mini dash d3, 4. Instant while running - Its so easy in Tekken 8 to do dragunov's Wr2 range 0 but in Tekken 7/Tekken 6 you had to do actual iWR input. One thing I hate about Tekken 8 is the changes to Devil Jin. I learned Devil Jin in season 4 of Tekken 7 but now he's completely different. The main reason I main Kazuya in Tekken 8 is because he's feels more like Tekken 7 Devi Jin compared to Tekken 8 devil Jin.

Clive has been really fun to mess around with. I’ve spent most of my time playing Kazuya, but with Clive, I feel like I’m getting away with things I wouldn’t even think of trying otherwise. Obviously, I’m not playing in the highest ranks, so any character can get away with a lot, but it’s still cool to see how their design philosophy really shows in his kit. It makes me a little cautious but also curious about what they might do with guest characters or legacy ones in the future. Either way, he’s definitely a blast to play! By the way, I hope you’ve been doing okay since the news you shared. It sounds like such a tough thing to go through, and taking time for yourself is definitely the right call. Wishing you all the best.

Just bought tekken a few hours ago, and waiting for the download to finish. This will be my first ever fighting game, and I already have a few characters in mind who I’d like to main. Those being: Reina, Lili, Asuka, and Jun. I’m very excited for this, as not is it my first fighting game (previously mentioned I know), but the demo had me hooked. It felt refreshing to be able to play a fighting game for the first time, and not instantly feel like I’m “mashing” buttons. This will definitely help my later climb with the game!!

I like how in Street Fighter, whenever a new game comes out the old ones dont die. People still play SF2, 3rd Strike, USF4 and SF5. Whenever a new Tekken comes out, that replaces the old one.

I hit fujin with kazuya then DAMN I WENT DOWN TO FLAME RULER AND ALMOST WENT DOWN TO MIGHTY RULER as soon as i got demoted from fujin to battle ruler i said im not closing the game until i reach fujin
