Three or more wheeled legs (roller-blade size, powered wheels) would result in a fast, stable base, with smooth movement, even when powered down. It could still climb stairs and work in a human space.

Admitting you should use wheels if the use case supports it is fantastic and true. For a multi use case solution, as the narrator points out, legs make sense if the environment were not traversable with wheels. For robotics though which is an industry full of specialistic applications and not generalist systems, we would anticipate agility robotics would be outcompeted by a wheel and manipulator arm based solution for warehouse applications.
