What i find weird is i find Cook and Moore to about as high level quality humour thats out there, but when i play it to friends and family they just sit there and have no reaction whatsoever. Personally ive been dying since i discovered them in 1994..

Cheap jokes about alcoholism is distasteful and lazy, the poor guy had an illness and was suffering terribly so to be wheeled out like a performing monkey is disgraceful and people like Appel should’ve been deeply ashamed of themselves!

For those who might not know, musical talent runs thru at least four generations of the Calloway family. Cab's mother, Martha Eulalia Reed-Calloway, a Morgan State College graduate, was a church organist, teacher, lawyer, and realtor, while his elder sister, Blanche, preceded him in her career as a jazz singer, composer, and bandleader. Cab had five daughters, the first of whom, Camay Calloway Murphy, was born to Cab and his high school girlfriend Zelma Proctor in 1927; as an adult, she became an educator, who emphasized music and multiculturalism. She also founded the Cab Calloway Jazz Institute and Museum at Coppin State University. Two more of Cab's daughters, Cecelia Calloway and the late Chris were jazz vocalists, while grandson, Chris Calloway Brooks is a musician, vocalist, and leader of the revamped Cab Calloway Orchestra

I feel worst for the people in the classroom and the bar. All the glasses started to fall and shatter and the lights in the classroom fell before most of the ppl could get out.i still feel bad for all the people but those few had it the worst.

I live in Santa Monica California (Los Angeles County) used to live in San Francisco. My house is new and built to current earthquake codes for California and the office I work in has been retrofitted to current California earthquake codes. I have a storm shelter with a month’s worth of food and supplies in the case of an actual earthquake emergency.

I forgot to add the biggest earthquake I was in: Loma Prieta in San Francisco October 17th 1989. I was at the A’s-Giants World Series game! 15 seconds of pure adrenaline and fear! I’m glad I wasn’t on the Bay Bridge and especially not on the Cypress Expressway!
