Vr is just so uninspired. I love it and its potential. But imo we are years away from it being great.

I really enjoy the subscription to Meta Quest+. I'll add that I get a 30% off coupon from them like every other month or so. That really helps me save on the new games that are coming out. So yes, I'm buying most of the new triple-A titles.

Excellent video, and very honest. I love my Vision Pro and hope Apple keeps updates coming because this could be the future of home computing. For comfort btw I solved the issue with third party headbands. I agree with the hair mess issue though lol.

I know this video is several years old now, but I still found it very helpful! I just got a VR headset and No Man's Sky is the first game I wanted to play on it. This is super helpful regarding the controls, but I also really appreciate that there are basic game tips as well!

can you still use Quest VR in Ally X without the Prism XR?

At 10:36 I can see the person's arm overlaying the full immersion (full field of view) 360 degree photo. Does anyone know if your hands will overlay a full immersion 360 video? If so, is it also possible for the device to track and overlay other hand held objects, such as a cup of coffee (I wouldn't want to accidentally spill a hot cup of coffee while being fully immersed). Cas, the hand tracking is slow, actually there is no difference, so these v72 updates are sent in packets. It appears that the hand tracking packet didn't make it to my Q3 yet. You may want to mention this in your videos as not to confuse users that did not receive the entire new update.

Great video. I tried this with the first Gen ally and my quest 2, but steam VR would not let me do it because I couldn't hardwire the ally to my star link router. What did you use? Is it that your router allows connection to it through USBC or a special cable?

This will only be meaningful imo once it's as frictionless as turning on the Steam Deck, plugging in my VR head headset, opening Steam (the legit PC version), selecting a Steam VR game there from inside the headset (a legit PC VR game) and go. If they can every achieve that, where it allows PC VR on a plugged in headset, so it's basically a legit portable PC VR solution, then I will be genuinely interested.

The Apple Vision Pro is great but there just simply is not enough content outside of a few hours of using it. Which lets it down immensely.
