Mrs. Brown telling people to cross Pickett lines is crazy. What’s stopping Target from just dropping them from the store regardless of black people buying from them because they can be considered a “DEI brand” Life is crazy 😂

Nobody, and I mean nobody, can be surprised 🤡 did this or that he pardoned 1500 Jan 6 insurrectionists or that he suspended military aid to all countries except Israel and Egypt. And 🤡 is only 17 DAYS into his second term, only 1,444 more days to go - that is if he decides to leave. I had written off the MAGA cult members as they seem not to realize the well they are in (how about the price of those eggs?) The US voters I’m very angry at are the Uncommitted Voters, as they were the difference, they handed the US Presidency to 🤡. Look at the election results and you’ll see 🤡 did not win by a landslide, he won by a sliver. The Uncommitted Voters threw their vote away even after 🤡 said Gaza should be levelled, I hope they are losing sleep over their decision, the people of Gaza certainly are.

Great rant of the state of things. Thanks for shouting out Eunique's tweet about people saying they'll buy directly from Black business but will be the same ones to get mad that your aren't in retail stores. You can't win.

Believing this is so sad. You cant see how dei hurt those it was created to help. They arent racist, stop obsessing. The dems are brainwashing you because they know we are stronger together, these are ploys to separate us and create hate. Dont fall for their crap. Planned parenthood was created to destroy you, welfare was created to destroy you, and yep....you guessed it...DEI was created to destroy you.

Good to have you back, especially with this. That said, I think you credit these companies and CEOs with far too much "self" than they actually have. Public corporations neither know nor care about black people or DEI or whatever; they are mindless organisms in pursuit of money, the way plants grow along a nutrient gradient. People like Muskrat may individually be bigots but their personal preferences are largely irrelevant; capital has only one demand. In the slow motion collapse of capitalism, these fortunes and stock growth are ever more dependent on federal contracts and government favors - most of amazon's business is data management for various US agencies. If Kamala had won they'd all be advertising their sustainability and DEI programs; with Drumpf they are advertising their demise. In either case, it's for the same reason: currying favor with their biggest customer.

This is off topic, but I was reminded of it with "food sovereignty": I wonder why there are so many food deserts and why it is so hard to get food to towns/communities. But slightly more concerning is that I learned small farmers have to buy seeds from corporations which basically own the genetic code to the crop. A farmer can get charged if, say a corn crop, gives rise to a new plant without the seed being repurchased (or something like that). I wish I had the reference video/creator's name, and I've been meaning to look into it more, but the implications are wild. These corporations have their grimy little fingers sticking way down into every section of industries in which they certainly don't belong. We can't afford to feed ourselves, we don't have access to fresh, healthy food, and even if we did, it's completely being controlled by privatized corporations.

My brother once advised me to work in tech because they lower their standards for women and "it will be so much easier for you." He said, "we can always tell when a DEI hire walks in." I couldn't bring myself to be that person. How humiliating. Call me crazy, but i want to be hired on merit, not because I have a vagina or dark skin.

If we understood what real boycotting is, and I am talking about civil rights era boycotting we would all be boycotting that includes the black brand owners the Allied non-black brand owners and customers black customers we would all be boycotting target Amazon, Walmart, Twitter, KZbin, every cell phone company; but unfortunately, we are all too comfortable. It is only when we are extremely uncomfortable and extreme pain and suffering that we are willing to endure even more pain for the real implementation of actionable change.

I am not positive but i think company's were getting tax cuts based on the "diversity" of a company. So less tax expense for more non-white's is also a strange way to implement "equality". And many complains about the capitalism of DEI products in Target & Amazon no body wanted the black history mugs I think we wanted more organized education on the matter but its just so depressing to talk about the victimization of your ancestors.

One of the most obvious thing that has happened since “he” won is what I call “The replacements”. They’ve been visually placing the other “brown people” in position of power and visibility instead of Black people. I’m talking across the board. I.e. entertainment, etc. I’m seeing a lot of talk of we need to rest. Is it resting if they’re literally disappearing a group of people from history, present and if possible future. Not saying they’ll succeed just saying it’s evident they’re associating Black peoples as the past and everyone else as the future.

“We need a new constitution.” Well, Trump's going to give us one. Hope you like it, cuz it seems to me the idea that both sides are equally as bad did nothing but help Trump. Like ofc many voters who likely would have voted for Harris sat out after constantly being told both sides are fascists anyway. Well, we are learning already that both sides are not 'just as bad.' One side is in fact much worse. Look, I know many of you have a fantasy that Trump is going to accelerate the fall of the empire (and to be fair he likely will) and then you can then rebuild it but there are no guarantees that's how this is going to end especially if the left doesn't get organized.

DEI has too much far left divisive unethical identity politics. There are too many examples of inappropriately sacrificing merit for shallow representation. Much of the money spent on it would be better spent directly injected into communities of need. I hope you all take time to look outside your bubbles too.

At some point racist started using DEI as a codeword more like slur for black people predominantly. I've noticed that shift in gaming community 🤷🏽‍♀️. It was used at as a slur for all non white men but over time began to specifically target black people.

Keep in mind it is the same Equal Opportunity and Anti Discrimination laws that African Americans fought and died for that are being used to end Affirmitive Action and DEI because neither of these programs had any legal weight behind them and African Americans should never have been defending them. Instead they should have been demanding corporations comply with existing equal opportunity laws in hiring, promotion and pay and should have been fighting for equal funding for primary and secondary education which is where the actual discrimination in education was always at and filing lawsuits all over the place. If you aren't fighting these corporations and institutions with the laws on the books already then you are part of the problem and waiting for some token handout program from them is not the solution. Keep in mind the woman said @4:44 that she didnt want to fight discrimination that affected her directly at the workplace. What kind of nonsense is that?

The only disagreement I'd have with you is the third party point I don't think thats even going to work cuz even if we're being most optimistic. The 3rd party candidate is going to be outraised/outspent by corporations/billionaires in terms of ad dollars and campaign finance, which is crucial for ballot access and prospects of even winning From my perspective, its probably going to be revolution or civil war that brings any radical changes which may happen if the capitalists keep getting greedy privatizing everything and raising costs of living to the point where people cant stand it anymore
