Great film..now that's adventure..I canoed along rivers and lochs and climbed Suilven last year. Then portaged into Loch Sionasgaig(I think that's how it is spelt) and didn't see a soul for 3 days..love that amazing part of the world so much.

If I’m correct the river at the start is just by Cathcart station ? I used to visit shawlands a fair bit about 10 years ago , what a great city , never imagined that river would hold trout !

Hi Sean. Wonderful video, places, music... I've been lucky enough to travel to Scotland twice, and I'm looking forward to going back. I wish I could catch some trout or salmon (no catch and release), I'm from the south of Spain and I've always fished in the sea. Thank you very much for the videos and best regards.

You and I, have the same disease. And the fact that I recognise nearly every loch and burn that features in your beautiful film, confirms we both require the same course of medicine. We are fortunate.

You've summed up my brother's and my childhood in one fell swoop. We grew up in a remote part of north Wales and we're obsessed with catching trout from our wild moorland peat streams, too. That deep love for the wide spaces and smell of the running water never leaves you. We'll be making a return this summer. Wonderful video.❤
