@@robertrivera3912 ideally it could cause a number of issues. It could let moisture buildup in the case, which ultimately gets burn in the combustion chamber. If you’re getting consistent smoke, I wouldn’t expect the pvc. I’d look at fuel coolant combustion and oil. So that head gasket and oil seal. You can do a combustion, leak down test and pressure test. Other things is look at your oil, smell your oil and pressure test your coolant system. Hope that helps. Good luck!!

It can be one of these two parts. I don’t recall exactly which hose it exactly was. The first one is 25410 - F6500, price was 60.99 The second one is 25414 - F6500, the price for that one was 95.99 When you put these part numbers into Google, you should be able to get a picture of what the hose assembly looks like. There should also be a diagram on Kia websites that indicates where the hose is. The dealer description for the hose is , hose assy-radia. Good luck with your repair!

Yes, that is totally normal for the Kia/Hyundai transmission. They have a cold nature. There’s nothing to fix that. They had a software update that made it better, but first initial start you get jerks. What is not normal is if you have additional jerks later on. If you get jerks, let’s say a mile or two down the road, then that typically indicates that you need to change your fluid. Especially hard jerks.

@ yea it basically does it at the start of driving maybe a mile or two in worth of driving then stops ? How do I go about getting the update ? I’m note sure if it was ever done or not .

You can call the dealership give them your vin and see if you have any outstanding recalls. The jerk typically should be when you first pull off within leaving your neighborhood. If it does jerking up until a mile or two out, then it’s probably time to Change the trans fluid. I’m pretty sure you need it, it’s recommended every 35,000 miles. If you don’t feel comfortable doing it, the dealership offers a trans fluid exchange service. This is better than doing the trans oil drain, simply because it gets all of the old trans fluid out. With the drain and refill you would wanna do that at least twice. I would say one when ever you do it and then the next one once you do an oil change.

25179136 I think this could be it, but they are discontinued. I believe if you have the upgrades valve covers, you can use the cheap valves. I just cleaned mine and reused it, it still operated as it should. It was just dirty.

If you go through my channel, you will find out where your coolant leak is most likely. I also have the video on the filter housing repair. If your leak is close to the front, then it’s going to be your coolant hose that comes off the front of the transmission. Check out my shorts. If it’s coming more so from the back then it’s probably going to be coming from your heater core at the firewall. I believe I have a video on that as well. The batteries for this vehicle are pretty expensive, but if you Look at the battery that I replaced it with. That one is a lot cheaper than what they charge for that style battery. I believe is also a five year warranty compared to the standard three-year warranty with most batteries. Good luck, report back and let us know how it goes. I suggest definitely taking care of that coolant leak, is relatively simple, and can be fixed without buying new parts. That’s if the leak is in the front.

Yes, the metal pipes that go into these hoses have a plastic lining around them that attaches to the inside of the holes overtime. The other leak that I had in this vehicle first was at the heater core at the firewall

@@jocker13ify I believe one side pops out over the other. So I don’t think you could pull it straight out. Be careful because there are tabs. I would say practice on a car at the junkyard first before you take yours off.

Yes, tried going clockwise. But counter I didn’t that much because I determined clockwise was the way. I’m going to take the pump off with fan and clutch still attached. Which way did your co worker turn?? 94 3.0 V6 engine.

@ he was on an 03 ranger 3.0 and it was left handed threads. He had to turn clockwise looking at it from the front. Maybe its just rustwelded on there from 30 years of use..

@ OK perfect yes same deal. I’m sure it is rusted on there, I seen marks on the nut as if it had been attempted before. The water pump has never been changed and neither does the clutch look to have been changed before so I’m pretty sure somebody had a go at it some years ago and gave up. The simple solution for me, is just a new fan clutch. I’ll take the whole assembly off together, and just replace it with the new clutch and use the old pulley and fan. I don’t know why I spent so much time trying to get this nut off. Lol 😂 waiting on a new fan clutch now.

Hello Master, me I’m a DIY😊 Not sure where the AWD ECU. Most are under the hood, seat, or center dash to either side of the vehicle. They can also be in the center under the armrest for front and back. Sorry I couldn’t be of more assistance to you.
