I saw a thread full of people arguing over a top-ten list of rock bassists and thought immediately of Gary Peacock. I know that comparisons are invidious and unhelpful, but there wasn't one of them who has the sensitive creativity he does. Also, Geddy Lee wasn't on the list so you know it was bullshit anyway. But still. . .

Kieth Jarrett’s playing is from some another world or something . Endless Ideas chordal , improve just his playing is so unbelievable there is no other like him.

Five seconds of video, and everything stops. We listen, and we stay silent. That's Keith's superpower.

Jack DeJohnette is one of my perennial favorites. He is a truly unique creative force but fits perfectly in this trio.

I've got so many Jarrett trio recordings and yet this is another one I haven't heard. I just picked up the Blue Note box, Still Live, Standards Live, and The Cure.

Se puede amar lo pequeño y asi lo demuestra este trio gigantesco...es un tanto dificil explicar la sensacion que despierta este tema...y para que hablar de la version de John Coltrane...
