I'm also work with consultant companies stating as assistant resident engineer before became resident engineer. I'm like my field and certified success working as team and under severe pressure. I prefer contracting projects more than consultants for challenges occurrence in contracting projects

This was my experience at my last job. I even refused to believe it was so! But, I woke up each day with a headache. I’m a positive person but I felt myself changing into a nervous person with low self esteem. I felt confined to my desk, was not allowed to have long conversations with employees, was not supported by my direct report and being pretty intuitive, felt I was talked about behind my back. I ended up just keeping quiet since I felt irrelevant on the team. It was actually a very sad situation as I would not treat anyone the way I was. I was eventually let go and really didnt care anymore. I was so relieved and felt like a weight was lifted. I was able to collect unemployment which, to me, was important since I support myself.

I recently started my first full-time job and am already noticing a lot of these signs. I'm trying my best to stay for at least a year, but I'm not sure. Micro-manager, high turnover within the last year, poor communication, etc. I started to look for new jobs

My Mom just left a job for all those Toxic Traits you describe she was stress her hair was falling out, she is crying everyday no time for herself or us her children its really sad 😞😞😞

Preparing for an interview and stumbled upon this video, wow, with this video, am a better candidate

I was placed on a PIP last year, after having solid performance reviews. After being forced out of my job, I found out that my role was consolidated with another vacated role. Could have just laid me off. Needless to say, I'm no longer on speaking terms with my former team members and I have sense adopted a strictly enforced policy of no connecting my colleagues on social media, nor will I be going to dinner with any of them after work.
