I don’t think your “weirdness” is an only child trait. I’m 3rd born in a family of 4 and I can relate entirely to the way you’ve described yourself! It certainly can make a person feel like they’re odd at times.

I enjoyed this video. Just an fyi...about the message bible. Eugene Peterson uses alot of occult terminology throughout this. I don't use this translation because of a lot of his beliefs. You may want to further look into him. God Bless.

@@user-bn7dg2km2d thank you for your comment. Yes… the Message is a “paraphrase” which I did say when I used its context. I know well what has been said of this man and I know well not to use it for more than reference only. Which I used here because of its powerful practicability. I do not use it otherwise. 💙

@@inspireministries true. What concerns me is majority of people do not take the time to test the spirits. Or research who they listen to. They take whatever someone they likes teachings as spot on. We have to take all things back to the word. (I love that you do this. ) Too many share false teachers, teachings, and resources , not realizing that this will lead those who don't have discernment astray. Thank you for your diligence. ❤️

Wendy, Thank you so much for this beautifully spoken teaching. I've been beating myself up by comparing myself to mature women in Christ. I was struggling to understand how the graduation from infancy to maturity actually occurs. So,THANK YOU for breaking it up. Do you believe the unsaved are condemned to eternal torture or annihilation to oblivion?
@inspireministries8 күн бұрын
@@christianuniversalist those who believe in Christ will have eternal life. Matt 35:46, “And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
@christianuniversalist8 күн бұрын
A more accurate Koine Greek translation of that verse would be: “And these will go to the **chastening** of that Age, but the just to the life of that Age” **The word kolasis (κόλασις) originally meant “pruning” or “docking” or “obviating the growth” of trees or other plants, and then came to mean “confinement”, “being held in check”, “punishment”, or “chastisement”, chiefly with the connotation of **correction**. Classically, the word was distinguished from timoria (τιμωρία) which means a retributive punishment only. The only other use of the noun ‘kolasis’ in the New Testament is in 1 John 4:18, where it refers not to retributive punishment, but to the suffering experienced by someone who is subject to fear because not yet perfected in charity. The verbal form, ‘kolazo’ (κολάζω), appears twice: in Acts 4:21, where it clearly refers only to disciplinary punishment, and in 2 Peter 2:9 in reference to fallen angels and h unrighteous men, where it means “being held in check”or “penned in” until the day of judgment.

People that want to help me I would refuse the help for thinking that they would throw it back in my face later, yes ( Prideful). This quick study helped me see why God has been so silent for so long Selah
