This is my biggest struggle. I always get brought into gossip by me listening; BUT, my response every time is “pray for those people”.

This is an area that I need so much work in. It’s like once I start, I cannot stop myself. My mouth can be so wicked. I needed this video more than you know. Thank for this conviction. I need to do better. I need to do things differently. I don’t want to sin. I don’t want to go against God.

Wendy, thank you so much. I try so hard to ignore gossip when I get a message from someone about an issue they are sharing that involves others. I’ve gotten so much better in just ignoring it. What I just got from your message is I can do so much better in this area. But wow ~ I also got how this area of gossip is such an issue with what is currently going on in our world. We are on social media and it’s propelling this constantly all day long. It’s causing all the things you spoke about including strife and anger, and how much of those things we read about are even true? Even the memes…..we share and make fun of. I never really thought about these things as being gossip. As you’ve said before we should ask “What does Jesus think about what is happening here?” I do not want to discredit my faith or dishonor Jesus and definitely not grieve Him in any way.

Convicting in the best way. I often find myself, especially at work, engaging in, either actively or passively, gossip/complaining about other coworkers. No more. I will begin working with the Holy Spirit to stop up my ears and close my mouth in these situations. Thanks Wendy!
