I was at Japan Expo the year they performed, but I didn't see them because I hardly know them well but I knew my friend liked them! however at the same period I went to a night event in paris and I stopped and asked a guy present there for a photo because he wore mismatched flipflops and I found it funny... later when my friend and other mutuals saw the pic they told me it was Sho welp, he was wearing the t shirt w the red and blue stars we can see in the video

that is far from the best from Asagi.. Yami yori Kurai Doukoku no A CAPELLA Jounetsu no ARIA is among the best vocals performances in visual kei, Edem could also be another good choice to hear Asagi vocals

wow that's a tough list honestly :O Probably unfair at this point to say Kyo is the best considering he's done everything at this point even with having sustaining vocal damage and the like xD But between Kamijo and Asagi I would go for Asagi, that's just me personally atleast xD Asagi actually does have a fair amount of versatility and range, so does Ruki to a degree but more with the death vocal stuff where as Asagi swoops through on those cleans but has a fair amount of harsher sounds too :P I don't know Onmyouza but I'll have to check them out sometime xD Otherwise my 2 cents 1. Kyo 2. Asagi 3. Ruki 4. Kamijo

You need to watch the live of D -7th rose In this song Asagi shows what he can really do with his voice, so it proves he is the BEST vocal in visual Kei. Here the link kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJ3JpKCoabaJd9U

I agree that 7th Rose would have been a better choice or even Yami Yori Kurai, or if someone could get their hands on the Torikago Goten L'Oiseau Bleu DVD then perhaps show her Denshou sareshii sore ni monogatari which also shows more of his vocal acrobatics (: Granted that's just keeping with the time line since this video is from 3 years ago :O If they were to make another featuring Asagi I would recommend checking out Zmei and that other new song D has out as of a few months ago :O

I just discovered them today, because of the parody they did of Atarashii Gakko! at Lucky Fes 2023. Digging into their videos (and an amazing website with English translations of all their songs), man, they are really funny. Thanks for the informative video. I can see that I have neglected the VK genre in my J-Pop studies. I look forward to more of your lessons.

Another important aspect is that the term Visual Kei only started to be used in the media in the late 90’s. No bands in those time proclaimed to be Visual Kei until Raphael did it the first time.

Eu amei o show. Eu estava 3 fileiras na frente do Uruha. E no Meet Greet : Kai sorriu para mim eu esqueci como se fala. Tinha treinado frases em Japonês. E não saiu nada... A única reclamação são os staffs que empurraram a gente na hora dos apertos de mãos.... 💕💕💕💕💕❤‍🔥💋

I wish I could get my hands on one of these crazy guitars one day. My favorites are probably Hitsugi’s “Haooomaru” (the one you show at the beginning), Uruha’s “Hellion II” and Közi’s “Akauzu-kun”.
