I've never won any artistic contest even though I was very good as a child and teenager. I was very close a couple of times but the evaluating commission always claimed that I hadn't done my work on my own. I don't want to sound arrogant, it's just that at my age at that time I created really astonishing works in comparison to others' works. I gave up after many situations like this. It was so unfair for some complete amateurs to win with their sh i t ty works they "did themselves". I always did everything myself, too. I never understood those contests. Who were they looking for? Children drawing poor works or children with artistic gifts? That's why I have no respect for artistic contests. Thank you for your video! It's very helpful ❤

This was the first video I have ever watched from your channel. I remember loving drawing ever since I was a kid, but began pursuing my hobby with such passion after watching your videos. Getting really excited about it. Unfortunately after a really depressing phase of my life, I went through one of the longest creative blocks of my life and I thought I was never going to draw again. But weirdly enough, this is another one of those depressive phases and I've started drawing again...I came back to this channel. And it feels like home.

As someone who's 18 I'm glad I've started appreciating the physical appearance of elderly people. I have a Pinterest board of different bodies and poses and recently started saving photos of elderly people mainly because my favorite character from a web series I enjoy is an elder person and I'd like to draw them more. I think unique faces are so interesting and I want to capture it in my artwork. Not just elder faces too, crooked and chipped teeth, big prominent noses, acne, wrinkles, etc. I love faces and bodies so much. I don't know what I'll be like when I'm older, but some of the nicest women I've met were 50+ and so beautiful and lively, mainly my continuation school teachers. :)

I agree with the parasocial relationship many viewers have regarding Simon and Martina. They are KZbinrs.... followers only know them via what they are willing to share publicly. KZbinrs may seem more personable or relatable, but for all intent and purposes.... you know them are much as any other celebrities, whether it be Jennifer Aniston, Bono, or Jerry Seinfeld... you only know their public persona. It is disappointing that you see tribalism within the community, that their fans "take sides".... that one party must be the victim and the other the perpetrator, that one side needs to win and the other to lose. Some fans only interpret any little tidbit of info however they wish to, simply because they prefer one of the duo versus the other.

I always thought it was so unfair that the community jumped down simons throat for "airing their laundry" in the his side of the story video, when martina had already been doing that!! She made and deleted a ton of comments IMPLYING he had been abusing her for a long time, and i dont know if thats true, but as far as i know she never owned any of those statements in a public setting. It definitely seems she shared more openly with a small group of superfans who would then spill just enough tea to keep feeding the drama. Yet when simon was backed into a corner by all the rumors martina herself was starting, hes the bad guy for going public?? You said it yourself she broke the seal. I always loved martina but i have a hard history of being abused the same way, where someone says big things behind your back but then accuses you of starting drama if you try to clear the air openly. They demand and then weaponise your silence. Telling a story to 100 individuals privately is not actually better than sending the same story to 100 people via mass message, it just makes those people feel more on your side because they think you confided in them, not knowing you also told 99 others the same story. It felt so slimy to me. I was a huge martina supporter as a fellow disabled woman but i feel sick to my stomach every time i see one of their old vids, and ended up hitting do not show on their channels. Even if simon was a straight up abuser, its martinas actions after the fact that did that to me. I wish she would have just been straight up and it kills me that the community sees no flaw in her actions, the same way my community acted toward my abuser when I tried to defend myself. As a cat owner it also made me sick that martina made a huge deal about not being able to share custody because meemers couldnt handle traveling back and forth to simons place, but then she also left the country and just gave the cat to her mom. At the time the travel concern was for shared custody, not because Simon himself was travelling a lot, why couldnt he have the cat?? Why do we keep saying simon was the one causing trouble with meemers when he was willing to let martina have him, then she just gives him away? Why is none of this ever a red flag for martina stans, it just icks me out man.
