Can you tell me the name of your sanding machine. I have one that looks exactly the same as yours only I think it’s under a different name. I am trying to locate the rear roller with the bearings

How are you using a dado stack on that Hercules table saw? I have one and it doesn't accept dado stacks. Wassup with that?

I saw this technique used on an eames chair replica, and it was nothing short of mind boggling!

I don't usually like the weathered and distressed vintage look, but these make more sense to me, and they look really nice. Staining with coffee is a great touch. I'm guessing the coffee smell fades, which is a shame. Maybe I missed it, but why did you put the pod grid into its own box instead of sizing it to the drawer? This is a great looking and functional design. I hope you sell loads of them!
@JoshWrightWoodworking9 күн бұрын
Thank you! I don’t really have a good reason for making the grid smaller other than I just thought it looked better that way. One of the first prototypes I made for the coffee crate had the grid filling out the whole space of the drawer and while it made room for more coffee pods, for whatever reason it just looked off to me.
@Not_TVs_Frank9 күн бұрын
The inner structure of the drawer is going to be tricky no matter what, given the thin stock used everywhere. Again, great project, and several smart approaches to consistent, repeatable parts. You could batch these crates out all day.

Awesome video! I made a stamp for some yard sale signs I made a few years back, and I used a thin sheet of cork over plywood and then used paint instead of ink. It ended up patchy and rustic looking so maybe that could help you get your desired effect for the lettering.

Super cool. The ability to stack them is pretty cool. The fast way to make dividers is also really cool.

Was blessed to grow up watching my dad create his own pieces, bring vintage furniture back to life in it's original form as well as salvage it in some artistic form when it was to far gone. The templates he had to make, the designs, the patience & love & respect to the craft is something awesome to witness. Blessed in many ways, of course the fact that CHRIST was a carpenter. . . 1st blessing.
