They were really screwed because there was no right answer at 8. In hindsight, Lavine should've been the guy. Saric would've been a decent pick as well. Jokic, Dinmiddie, Capela, Bogdan were too far to be considered at 8. The options at 8, were all just wrong.

Watching this really pinches a nerve… the definition to win is abysmal and the owner now has not learned a thing about team ownership at all. At trade deadline of this year in 2024 Vivek didn’t wanna spend to get extra pieces around the Kings but instead acquired an MLB team to monopolize the market. Ultimately this led to them ending their run early this season because of this. One of the worst owners that doesn’t know what he’s doing or even know in running a team.
