Still not a fan of ford wiring harnesses. Newer vehicles.....far worse with their wretched CAN bus systems.

Very true. But now that the truck has a 6.7L Powerstroke that comes with additional wiring to keep everything a plug n play system.

The back of the trans. In the video looks high did you check for your 2-3degrees slole? And ford motors and trans are a little to the right from the they aren't centered unless that's a big truck thing! If you have the tunnel cap that will give two too ,three in. of more clearance for trans.I picked up a few things putting a 460 in aF100 1970

Great questions! The transmission isn’t high, but they are off centered a bit towards the drivers side of the truck. This was on accident but it turns out that’s how the F750 factory engine sat. Thanks for the suggestion, we’ll have to check it out when we tear the truck apart for body and paint!

@@SmokinJoe if you can find a place for a subwoofer that doesn't look hideous and still fits in, my dad did with the truck in my pfp. he also added an amp into it aswell. also some nice speakers and good radio to tune everything and get it to play nicely

also if you do a 1976 interior which it seems like your doing based on how you did the dash, make sure it all fits in. my subwoofer and amp just look like a really big center console

Noted, thanks for the insight! My thought is to have your regular speakers in all 4 doors. And then putting everything behind the back seat. There’s usually a fuel tank that sits behind the seat, and with that gone I think it’s a perfect spot for some of the audio equipment!

@ i thought of that due it being a 76 and i think that would be perfect, not to mention you can definitely use the space under the seats. also idk where my dad got that but the truck also has some fairly small and unnoticeable speakers up in the corners.
