Another Smash Bros meatrider. Yawn 🥱. I'm starting to think Nintendo fans are allergic to other platform fighters and kart racers. Mario Kart fans do this exact same thing. Make hate videos on other kart racers telling us how inferior they are to Mario Kart. My thing is, why do y'all play other shooters and traditional fighting games then if other platform fighters and kart racers are just clones of Mario Kart and Smash Bros ? What exactly is so "different" about them that y'all are willing to play damn near all of them instead of sticking to just one ? It just doesn't make sense to me.

I speak for Nick all-stars and Multiversus some of the players are just abit hypocritical. They cant either make up their minds nor confess which of them are more comfortable. Even the rest of the platform fihting games.

Removing test of execution and speed is whats killing platform fighters. theres a reason why melee is king after 20 years. Melee will still exist even when ultimate dies. but people dont want to put in the work to learn. But multiversus removes all execution test and youre just doing autocombos that look terrible even if they do connect. no one is really balancing multiversus, just look at the samurai jack who just came out. hit boxes that cover half the map in a 2nd. I liked platform fighters because it tests my speed, now its just testing if I can adapt, and adapting is boring as hell to watch.

Just wondering, what's your thoughts on Fraymakers? It's being devleoped by McleodGaming who were behind Super Smash Flash and it's more popular sequel. Though it's still in Early Access at time of me making this, I'm having a pretty fun time with the core gameplay despite there not being a whole lot to do outside of that, and that pixel art is just gorgeous might I add.

Nasb 2 is actually doing pretty decently as of late, it had very few players for a long long while, but it actually got onto gamepass recently, and even reached number 19 of the xbox games with most players, and since it has crossplay it's a win for all. But I get what you mean though, I love nasb 2 but I am very pissed they made it 50 bucks, it alienated so many players instanly, that said, I'm like 90% sure it was a publisher thing so it's a frustrating situation, a lot of its problems come from the publisher forcing them to rush releases or giving them unfair prices to work with

This is why I’ve always preferred game pass, not even just for day one games, but because I feel like i’m getting bang for my buck, whereas with PS Plus most of the games on their catalog can already be bought for under $20 by the time they release on the service, games on Game Pass, for the most part feel like they have actual value, even if i’m paying a bit more for it than I would PS Plus, and that’s not even mentioning how good Microsoft’s cloud streaming is compared to Sony’s. Even with Ultimate now costing $20 a month, they justify it with extra stuff like EA Play (which is only good for Dead Space and some older 360 games since EA has gone to shit but still) and member perks

I was happy with my first year of Premium Plus. Got to try a bunch of games, it was my first year with the PS5 and to cap it off, Stray was amazing. Year two, almost nothing came to it I was even remotely interested in. The few things I was mildly interested in, I never even got around to checking out. Year three, downgrading to essentials. I'll upgrade back up when something good makes it worth it, this is junk, absolute junk, not interested.

the problem with State of Plays is that they don't really work with the current state of Playstation for the sake of comparison, Nintendo Directs work because Nintendo isn't only focusing on their big IP games like Mario or Zelda but they have small or medium games like Pikmin, Metroid or Kirby on top of the updates of the big games which gives each direct hype, it makes you wonder "what are they going to announce now?" with Playstation we either get updates on games we already know about as their studios only focus on their big IP games or updates on 3rd party games. now this last thing I could see as an advantage Sony has over Nintendo, as the Playstation 5 is more powerful than the Nintendo switch and thus Nintendo can't get games like Monster Hunter Wilds or Silent Hill 2 remake (with Silent Hill specifically, this is an franchise that is very close to Playstation so ), but when these updates are some of the only few announcements they have in these presentations it just feels like filler. I think if they did these during the ps3 era they would work better since they had more games to show up, but now it's just the same 4 or 5 games we already know about
