Is the install similar on the gen 5 summit?

Has anyone installed these 2.0 shocks and noticed a real improvement in the vehicle's comfort? The one without the nitrogen tank. I installed them in my Toyota and neither I nor my family noticed any improvement. Nothing. I tried to ask Fox support for help but no one helped us.

What's the advantage over a cable? Like, wireless shifters can shift under laod and are easier to set up.

Really big ask but I am a 13 year old just now getting into mountain bikes and I have a Marlin 5 gen 3 that took me about a year to save up for. I want to upgrade it but don’t have money to being honest and I feel very limited seat post wise so what are the odds I get a cheap PNW dropper post that I know you recommend. I know it’s a big ask but it would be a big help and keep up the vids they’re great!!

I run top end kit. Chris King, Push suspension etc, but the only electronics on my bike will be my Garmin watch, my phone for safety and some lights in the winter. We don't need all this crazy expensive electronic stuff for the sake of it when mechanical/hydrolic works so well for a fraction of the price.

This is one reason I am buying the 2025 Stump Jumper 15. I want aluminum and I want that FOX FACTORY 38! I am not sure about the Shimano SLX drivetrain. I already have a HT with XT/XTR components. I might look at other brands as well. So, the manager at TREK told me he thinks FOX is a better fork than RockShox. I am not sure of that because I am still using my RSHOX JUDY long travel XC fork and never had to have it serviced and never had any issues with it. I don't think they need to be serviced unless the seals are leaking, and the fork just does not feel the same. We all when something does not feel right, we get it fixed. Well, that is how I am with my cars.

Farkin EPIC!! How did I miss the launch of this until now, even my LBS missed it too. Have been watching live valve progress since it first came out in 2018 hoping it would one day become an aftermarket retro fit option and it’s FINALLY here!!! Your website says out of stock here in Australia but have put my email down to be notified when it’s in stock and I’ll be ordering one as soon as I can!!! So bloody keen!! I should have gone with 2.5. Have the 2.0 resi and blew out 2 of the shocks and of course it was after the 1 year warranty. Had a local shop rebuild them and held for a bit but now they leaking a bit. I guess I rode harder than I thought. 😅

Awesome video, though I wish there was a bit more clarification on... basically the performance versions. As I really like the base performance Float shock (not factory SL), but wondering what adjustments I may be missing out on if doing so. It seems like its now a 2 position lever instead of 3? But still has the micro adjuster to tune the open mode to 3 different compressions? Would love an answer :)

i dont know... Just did a service or should i say tried to do a service on a set of float 3 shock from a new never touched arctic cat mountain cat. 2 sealheads wont come off the shock-body and the main air chamber was almost impossible to get off quality control is not that good.... Had to send away my own fox 40 downhill fork to get fixed straight from the box because the bushings where sticking so bad. Fox is not ohlins and even elka have better qualti control on delivery the first shocks i mentioned are going to need new shock body's and sealheads because of really bad assembly from the factory and that is not a good thing to tell a customer that bought a not so cheap snowmobile. The coil shocks are decent and the DHX2 on my downhill bike has been great but as far as quality control goes it's a joke! this i a true honest opinion from suspension technician...
