The price is nuts (1400€ in Germany! Some people ride whole bikes for that price)! Battery placement right where the dirt will go and looking terrible! New charging standard, battery 30€ more expensive as an AXS one, charger 80€? BUT IT HAS KASHIMA AND IS ULTRAFAST. Fox guys out of their mind! BTW: Your Forks and Shocks are way too expensive, too!

I mean ok... you finally got a wireless dropper out. Few things after running a wireless dropper for a while. You really don't need a lever for a dropper, a small button is more than enough. The hydraulics and the actuator are both slower than the RF signals, so the bluetooth is not really where you get speed (but I bet this is for your new suspension bits). The placement if the battery is rough for dirt collection, unsure why no one has put the post battery inside the tube and have a USB C port tucked up at the top under the saddle? Still waiting for the new enduroish Live valve or whatever to be released, going to assume the app and RF protocol is more prep for that.

If you can place the battery in the front, meaning you can reverse the seat post, then I'm in! I also have a tail light I need to be always attached and specifically a lupine rotlicht

I’m running AXS with Fox suspension…. With this being the same cost, with some potential improvements over the Reverb, I think this’ll be my next dropper. Thank you Fox for developing this!

Fox quotes 8000 actuations before rebuild which is about double the RockShox AXS which needed to be rebuilt twice a year with 3-4 days/week riding. And the AXS rebuild costs almost as much as a brand new dropper if you can find the kit. Now if it weren't for Fox's handling of the manufacturing defects on the 2020-23 X2 shocks I would buy the Neo. However, knowing there are issues and allowing that product to be sold is shady business. Fox has been put in the "don't buy what you don't know works" category. All their bleeding edge/new tech/new designs will have to be a season or two old before consideration.

The battery latch look like a weak point that can easily break, and it would not surprise me if you have to resort to a ghetto duct tape mod at that point. Then you got wide open cracks around the battery where water and mud will just shoot right through, which can make a mess with electronics(why not just point it forwards instead so you won't have a direct spray from the rear tire right at the weak points...) At this price point it still looks cheap, and there's too much fiddle with apps and what not. Electronics are supposed to make things easier, except it only makes life more cumbersome. Before you know it you sit there and swipe this way and that way to set up a bike before a ride, and before you got your gloves on it's dark outside... Less batteries = peace of mind.

Wireless may not be for you. But the product testing they do for latches is quite extensive! You should check out the test process.

Fixing A problem that doesn’t exist dropper post are overrated, they won’t make u a better rider all they do is to save 5 seconds that correspond to exiting the bike raising the sea and getting on the bike.
