The instrument the lady at 13:51 is playing is called "Sagar Veena". She's the only player in the world of this variant of the instrument. She's also mother to the two male singers in the song: Ali Noor and Ali Hamza. Flex: I heard her play live once when she was a guest at my uni, long before this song came. She's also my namesake 🙈: Ms. Noor Zehra!

I just came across your reaction reviews today. The music video is spectacular but your well researched comments and intro enhances the whole experience. Your analysis of the music and the singer's voice is awesome. Traditionally the Naat ( praise for the Prophet Muhammad SAWAW) singers had vibrato and sang without any instruments.. The string instrument Rubaab is hand crafted and carved out of a single piece of hallowed out wood without any joints..

You have such a refreshing view ..Delving into the depths of the music , the impeccable artistary of the singers and their effortless delivery . Though I am very familiar with my language music and lyrics , I learn a lot about music and rythm from your analysis.. It is am uphill battle for the traditional music and musicians to survive against the onslaught of technically manufactured music ,which is so popular these days.

Your comment about the background sounding Caribbean is kind of spot on.. Its actually touch of Makaraani traditional music.Makaran is South coast of Balouchistan . The headgear ,Abdullah is wearing is traditional Baluchi Pugh ( cloquial ) Lyricd are in Baluchi language.
