It's not easy to contour Correx(maybe prudent use of a heat gun could help!) But I've made an F22 Raptor out of it instead of cardboard as plan originally intended and I'm pleased with result and it's strong also especially with umbrella carbon rods I used also!

you're on youtube recommendations! question: do 747s always take off so close to the end of the runway in capetown, is it your preference or maybe when theyre heavier than typical, seems quite scary to decide when to lift off.
@cameronwilliams3042
@cameronwilliams3042 10 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for the question! Sometimes the larger aircraft like 747 and other wide body aero planes are very heavy and full of fuel for their long trip (sometimes up to 150 tons of fuel) so because of this they will use alot of runway to get airborne. However it is all depend and on weight, temperature, wind, etc :)

"Two minimums". I guess it breaks the flight director to set minimums to 200.
@cameronwilliams3042

Yes that’s true! It will interrupt the ‘200’ automatic call out with “minimums” as that is more important/priority
@crypto1701
@crypto1701 Жыл бұрын
@@cameronwilliams3042 I guess setting it at any of the call-out altitudes will cause the same problem. I wonder why it doesn't just say "minimums" followed by "200 feet".. "200 minimums" seems to slightly prioritize the altitude over the minimums by saying the number first. 🤔
@cameronwilliams3042
@cameronwilliams3042 Жыл бұрын
@@crypto1701that’s a good point! Maybe they should just leave out the “200”!?
@crypto1701
@crypto1701 Жыл бұрын
@@cameronwilliams3042 It doesn't even say "200", it says "2 minimums". I'm assuming that's because it does give you both pieces of information in the most efficient way possible.. only delaying the minimum to call out long enough to say the number. Otherwise, it's up to the pilot to remember that they set the minimums to such a low altitude, one they're used to hearing a call-out for. By saying "Two minimums", they cut out the superlative "hundred" to get to "minimums" quicker. Pilots will automatically know what the 2 means but may not remember that minimums are set at 200 without, for whatever reason.

They are called trim wheels. The pilot uses trim to relieve any forces or pressure he feels on the controls. When he activates the trim those wheels spin. 😊

Would you agree that there is a difference between bod-weight in terms of the fuselage versus the wing-span? They say (on Quora) that the difference quotient equates to lift vs propulsion, but if one removes the lift quotient then flight would be made possible due to i have no idea what i am saying
