Adam if any farmer has to mark the ewes to tell them apart then you shouldn't have sheep every lambing i didif a farmer told me i had to mark the ewes id walk away it gets me so annoyed seeing the ewes with great big spray marks on them if you don't know all of your sheep individually then you shouldn't have sheep at all mate i used to be a shepherd working amongst sheep and i would only mark the lambs in all the lambings i did i never market a ewe and if anyone who worked with me did they would get wrong as well ❤mate i hope you and your wife are okay and over the worst days now let's hope there's better days to come for you all but stay strong i send you all my love and prayers and blessings and support for you all always Adam my friend ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Spent some time in Texarkana, TX a while back and the guy next door had critters--including a formerly abused donkey. Well, one day I get up and this guy has taken this little donkey out to the pasture and tethered him to a fence in the blazing 100+ heat. I rescued little guy and took him to the shade with a 5gal bucket of water! I was SO ticked!! That little fellow drank 5gal in one gulp! What's with people?? No humanity...

I would so have a donkey if I could. They are my favorite animals. I like the story about the cross. As an atheist, it made me smile. Your animals look so lovely, friendly and healthy. Beautiful animals. It's very sad to own almost 100 acres of land and I cannot farm it because it's a swamp mostly. Maybe 2 acres to live on. Not even good grass. I live in US Maine.

HOW CUTE! Adam you were so gentle with him, he wanted to stay with you. Bless momma, she was all about getting her baby back. I think your work saving rare breeds is tremendous. Much needed in all life here in our world.

In my imagination in a world that is quieter, happier and much healthier. What if these heavy horse breeds were hired out by small specialized farms to prepare field's, or in harvest. It could be subsidized by co-ops or organizations who are willing to partner in the mission to keep these amazing horse's alive, thriving and working. The Amish do very well with them here in the US. With some good brainstorming, I believe most issues can be overcome with win-win for all.

I volunteered at a donkey sanctuary and came to love these animals. We had a young female, born at the sanctuary. I would bring carrot treats in my pouch, and this little female once ran past me very quickly, and nipped my hand ! Boy did it hurt! She knew I had treats and wanted another one. Some two years later, I visited this same sanctuary, wearing my same pouch (but minus the carrots). And this girl, now 3 years old, never forgot me, she sniffed my pouch repeatedly, and followed me closely all over the pasture! Simply amazing animals, yes Jesus rode on a donkey through the gates of Jerusalem. And Mary, His mother, rode on a donkey to Jerusalem while heavily pregnant. There is also another story in the Bible about a talking donkey with its owner Balaam.

i wish my dog had some sheep to play with, he's an australian kelpie, a prominent herding dog, they are not bred to be house dogs so i have to keep his active mind busy, his favourite toy is the high speed remote controlled buggy, he loves rounding it up !!!

It's a hope of mine to choose a smaller breed of turkey, buy a good incubator and hatch them out and keep them as pets. I was raised in a farm environment and I miss it alot. Retirement is not far off and I will go for it. That will be great fun!

Thank you for all these explanations. I have always dreamed to have donkeys but it did not happen in this present life ! I love them very much. I have seen in other videos that they can act as guardians and fierce protectors of sheeps, as well as big pyrenean dogs and sometimes even better if they are 3 or 4 of them to protect the sheeps from wolves ! Its is true that baby donkeys are absolutely adorable. There is somewhere on YT a video of a man holding a baby donkey on his laps and singing him a lullaby. It is gorgeous and very touching. I love donkeys ! And I like very much how you are with them.. ❤❤❤

Donkeys are cute and a joy to watch on videos such as this. As for some comments below - The US is certainly not garbage but might be after a few years of this newly elected administration. Currently the US has a very low unemployment rate, near maximum employment, modern generally clean cities, and one of the best infrastructures. Those that trash the US are caught up in the current epidemic of lies and ridiculous conspiracy theories and much of it based on latent racism and racist resentment. All the available statistics indicate things in the US have never been better and one can see that just being out and about. Its those who sit at home watching partisan TV "news" all day who get a very different synthetic reality that they have total belief in and more belief than what simple day to day observation and experience would ever support.
