Hi all So there’s been a lot of chat recently about getting wearable technology such as the Apple Wearable headset. How do you know which way to hold the device in your hand when you're going to take off? I'm wondering if you hold it the wrong way, and you do the takeoff sequence, if the camera would be pointed the wrong way.

Hi! Got so excited after watching the video. Received the drone in a few days from Amazon. Upon loading the app, quickly figured out that even the setup process does not work well with VoiceOver. What has changed? Is there another app I should be using? I'm trying to calibrate the unit, but the process can hardly be called accessible. Can you help me figure out the discrepancy:) ? ?

I'm in the infant stage of learning to use a cane. Your video was very informative for me. Now I know what kinds of questions to ask my O&M instructor. I'm curious...you mentioned the last cane (for support?) but didn't elaborate on it. Did you do a separate video about that cane?

I’m starting loosing my vision. I am concerned on how will be my life with no vision. Probably I won’t be able to drive, won’t do astronomy anymore and working with my tool and machines that I love so much. If I go partially blind I’ll have to find things to do in order to not falling into depression.

I am a musician who needs to turn pages quickly and without any focussing problems. I presently use an IPad Pro but now need more magnification than putting it in landscape mode. (Macular Degeneration) Would I be able to capture images of, say 5 pages of music and then seamlessly move from one page to the next? Thank you for your expertise. Margi

I wonder if it can help with gaming and PDF files!!! I hate having to try and read PDF files all the friggin' time because companies refuse to put stuff in word documents...!

It does not currently work with PDFs or other documents. It is a good tool for photos.

I find Adobe Acrobat Reader with appropriate accessibility settings will do a decent job of OCRing and reading even otherwise inaccessible PDFs. Not as good a result as when the PDF is created to be accessible, but at least it is something.

@motobojo2 Oh yeah, I know about that :) Sadly, it is very much lacking... PDFs I need to read have importantly sectioned content that A.C can't properly convert or optimize, and even then, if I want it to do better, I need to pay for a subscription, which I'd rather jump off a cliff than give the greedy a-holes at Adobe ANY MORE of my money.

I wish they'd do nightvision on it. As a person with RP and having several children with RP seeing in low light or at night is super impossible. Of this device would do night vision so we could navigate to a vehicle or see if someone is outside it would be awesome! Also, if that vox would hook to the TV and display whatever is on the TV I could watch movies at tye same time as mu household. Is there any sort of program that could help make this affordable for a one income camily?

See, when you had it describe the picture of you reading a book with the headset, I was hoping your follow up question would be "Is he hot?" That would be a ery practical application for the tech in dating apps..

This Be My Eyes app for Windows is pretty cool. It would be pretty cool to have a real time back-and-forth conversation through this app for windows. It would make things so much easier. Also, just so you know the Envision Assistant app is coming to PC soon for beta could you do a review on that? I think there would be some cool features you’d like to test out and review.

I'm glad you reviewed this app. I found out about it a couple weeks ago, thanks to the fine folks over at AppleVis. I downloaded and installed it, and boy, is it nice! :) It seems to be pretty basic at the moment, but I guess they're working on getting more features put in. For those wondering how it works with screenreaders, it works great. I'm an NVDA user, and everything works as it's supposed to.

I love the fact that you can use it on the windows computer and if you needed to see the text easier for remaining Vision you can use the Magnifier on the computer

@@connieorsini3767 you’re welcome to also look into the dictation feature on the computer which I believe is shift plus H I think it is you can use the dictation feature to ask questions with the be my AI on the computer instead of typing it in. I know on the iPhone, you can enable voice control and accessibility settings to where you can just use your phone hands-free with the Be My Eyes app when voice is turned on you can still use voice control for dictation and instead of hitting the send button with your finger you can just use the voice command to send itby saying send a message
